I don't know exactly where to post my question but here, to me, seems to be the most convenient.

It's getting on towards that time where, soon, I'll be asked to do work experience. I live in England, so I'm not in a different continent or anything similar in comparison to the Jagex company (which I believe is located in Cambridge), and I was wondering, for one, can I get work experience from Jagex which is geared towards Game Design etc, and, secondly, if I can do work experience for the Jagex Company, how would I go about it? Do I work using my computer at home or do I have to travel to a certain place.

If you could answer my questions or at least direct me to the correct forum then I would be most grateful as you seem rather polite and your answers are full and helpful. Thank you for your time.

Hi there, i was posting this to reply to the dragon scimitar change idea. I have noticed you dont have the real ORIGINAL dragon scimitar from old wild...why is this? it looked way cooler than any of the crummy shit u came up with this time. thx

Hi Cr0wned3,

If you have a look at the first post of this thread, you'll see it's just for Player Gallery discussion & feedback.

Mind you, as the answer to your question is a short one, I might as well tell you rather than directing you elsewhere!

Basically, we don't offer school-age work experience. However, we do take on placement students at university level from relevant degree courses. Either way, if you want to know about working at Jagex, keep an eye on the careers section of our corporate Jagex website - http://www.jagex.com/careers

Thanks,

Dear Mods and creators of runescape. I'd like to see that you gonna change the dragon scimitar design but i think that 90% of players liked the old design of weapons and you don't really need to changed them. For example... i have like 15 friends in real life who played runescape... and 13 of them liked old whip, old dragon scimitar and old 2h/god sword attacking style. Thanks. -guetta- Thanks for reply

Agreed Guetta. The old designs of weapons were great, especially the scimitars. I'd go for B in this poll but i'd like it to not point upwards. I remember the good ol' days of wanting that scimitar, and now it looks lame... I hope this re-design will make it look better.

i agree with guetta also, except for his english ^_^ *not that it's bad that players are from all around the world or if they make a tiny mistake, we're human* anyways i do agree that the old styled weapons were most likely the best. Simply put, the old animations seemed to grow on people better than what these are. Also i do agree that the "original" should honestly be called the "current" or "second" design while including the original RS2 design. I voted for B because it resembled that one the most, yet still not the same. O_o
