Ironically I consider myself a high level and I have picked "quicker". However I don't care much about the sense of achievement.

I'm not a huge fan of the current pace of grinding at a higher level - Lower levels are alright to me though ^_^ I wish there where more alternatives to level up quicker than pure grind, Which pretty much require to to travel or play with others(I love dungeons! ;) )

But hey, Opinions may differ ^_^

I am considered high level and I chose same xp rate as before because I feel we all have to appreciate the hard work it takes to become excellent. But what I really would like to see is those extremely slow skills (smithing, herblore, prayer etc) get some faster methods of gaining xp. They can be disgustingly slow.

On a whole I am a player who check my stats obsessively, I check my new level almost instantely, I only say "grats" to others - if at all. I go along doing my own thing and try to avoid grinding. Did that once. Never again!

I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the more 'playful' polling options. They seem to add a tag to the real answer in a way, so instead of being, "vote for this", it's becoming, "vote for this because of that". I don't really support this because in the long run, the options attached to the answers can have a significant effect on how people vote in that poll. For example, they would normally choose option 3, but because option 5 has an attachment phrase that makes them sound like a true war hero, they might vote for that instead.

This is a problem because it biases the poll results in a way that they can no longer be taken as evidence for anything. They are no longer getting true feedback on what the poll is asking, but a more biased stance because suddenly, one option sounds better than the other, or maybe the option that the player would normally have chosen makes them sound arrogant or uncaring. This is represented perfectly in the current poll in the last question. The option that asks for slower experience is attached to a phrase which is calling people who perhaps don't appreciate training a skill a lot 'nubs', when in reality, many are not. This isn't immediately apparent, but when looked in to, it can uncover a problem that makes the results of the poll completely pointless.

All I ask is that more care is put into coming up with responses so that they are not biased towards a certain option, rather than the one the player would normally have picked. Either that or the polls be reverted to simple answers, like 'yes', 'no', 'don't mind', 'more' and so on. Otherwise I see no outcome of the polling system. :|

I must say that after participating in the current poll and reading the forum, I have to agree with OdysseyOfOne. This is an environment when respect to other players is clearly stated in the rules, yet we have a poll with a degrading term in it, regardless of the "playfulness" that may have been intended to encourage participation. As an adult, I'm very familiar with all the different ways that people can put each other down, even if it's turning a simple term like, "newbie," as we all once were, into an insult. I have seen that the Jagex team is trying to really use the results of these opinion polls and game content polls to better develop the game and all aspects of it for the players, but I must say that the information received would be more quantified and qualified for your use without inflammatory remarks or bias of any kind which could alter the truthfulness or quality of the information you are receiving. I commend you for the effort it takes to develop these polls but think that this consideration is most definitely valid.
