I think you guys did a pretty good job on the event this year, much better than last year.

The riddles weren't over the top and/or tedious (Okay, except the last one! Please, no more counting riddles! ) The rewards were also a lot better than last year, heck, I'd pay 50M for these if they were tradeable!

One particular problem I did find though is with people trying to find the forums. As most of the event happens over the forums, not too many actually know the forums exist. A link doesn't seemed to have proved successful imo as people still ask about the forums.

I also think the update should have been a headline update, it seems that a lot of people didn't know about CCF. (Meaning an update picture should have went out and/or been a standalone update).

Other than that, epic epic epic.

CCF > BXPW. Maybe a few other peeps should take a lesson on what a community event really means by checking out this event.

It was an amazing Cryptic clue fest!

The only thing that could be improved in my opinion, was that if you counted wrong on day 5 you would need to do the counting again; and I'm sure most people were really mad about that. We would rather just find the solution, even if that meant spoiling the fun for ourselves... The riddles was just right in terms of difficulty, and it was really enjoying to do it.
So overall, I'd rate it 4.3/5, a bit higher than last one.

Also, I wonder; will this be a yearly event (like X-mas, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, April fools...)? If so, I will already start thinking forward to the next one.

Edit: I also like the costume parts very well; it will most likely be a part of my fishing outfit

My only real gripe: needing two uncut rubies for the penultimate clue. Last year, and for this cluefest up to that point, all required items were either craftable or available in NPC stores. Am I just unusual in not keeping any rough gems in my bank? (I had *just* emptied out and cut my gem bag contents. Argh! ) If you don't already have these in your bank for whatever reason, it's kind of a pain to get some, especially for F2P who don't have gem rocks. I mean, it was just kind of a surprise considering the previous accessibility of clue items. I think the puzzles should be the challenge, not getting the secret code items! (puzzles were great by the way)
