The latest Poll, It Takes All Sorts, is needlessly facetious. I see polls as a way for Jagex to get some real feedback. Take Question number 3:
You're on a Quest and you realise you need some assistance to help you complete it. Do you:
Ask around your Friends List for some help. After all, you've always tried to help them. 84% (27580 votes)
Hunt down a victim, get the help you need and then PK them on the way home. Bwahaha! 10% (3137 votes)
Forcibly volunteer someone. The day you asked them for help will be the greatest day of their life! 7% (2162 votes)
Now, wouldn't it make more sense to have a set of answers that reflected the actual views of players? For example, "I hate all quests, I'd never be in this predicament.", "Group quests sound like fun! Bring 'em on!" or "I play RS solo, and that includes quests. Stop forcing us all to socialize!"
These goofy answers that you placed in the poll don't give you any useful feedback at all!
...remembers when you had to USE EACH AND EVERY FISH IN YOUR INVENTORY WITH A RANGE to cook them...
Thanks for the feedback, guys. The idea behind "It Takes All Sorts" was thanks to Mod Emilee and Mod Crow, but I wrote the answers so I'm glad they made some of you smile.
And
Dreamshot
- have a read of my answers on page 15. I've already explained the reasons for the last poll several times. ;-)
