No, no, no, no, NO! What are you thinking, Jagex? You really think you should give this community voice-chat? Not only did you royally mess up by effectively getting rid of the censor and its purpose, but now you're giving these people the ability to stream all of their hatred, intolerance, negativity, bigotry, and the like? Of course, they already have had the ability to do so, so why should you add yourself to that? If you think, that this community is seriously maturing to the point of voice chat, you are gravely mistaken.
I suggest you scrap this idea/planned update, and instead deliver on the other things you've been promising us for the past decade, such as Eastern Lands, Prifddinas, and so on. My feedback suggests that you do NOT go through with this, as what little regulation and character this game and its developers has would be lost.

id say yes to it but there are a few things that need to happen.
we need the option to totally disable it if we dont want to use it. I, unfortunatly, am still stuck with dialup as my only means of using the internet. there is nothign else available where i live at the moment. with the horrible lag i already get there is no way voice chat would work for me.
Also, the report system needs to be able to capture clips of what people say so they can be reported if they just get on and yell curse words. Player moderators also should be able to mute an offenders voice chat if they are doing something like cursing up a storm or doing disruptive things like blasting music into the mic as loud as they can.
If you guys can do this then i'd say yeah go for it

i use it sometimes cause it's *** as **** trying to see rs chat on resizeable mode, especially when you're travelling about in different places...mainly with snow
Y'all should review that with or without voice chat, all you need to do is darken the chat box a little instead of it being completely see through
