Rubbish idea. I can just imagine all the 13 year olds screaming down the mic and being racist, offensive and ******. Also, I don't want to listen to people acting tough down a microphone, I already hear so many annoying people on Xbox Live, voice chat is NOT needed on Runescape.

Voice chat would be amazing! I use other things to chat but an in-game one be amazing but it would need to include a mute of course lol. but the only reason half the kids dont use other programs is they are scared to let people hear their voice outside of game chats... and they dont feel the wont to give out information for other programs like their emails and names just to be found.
logict, wrong forum to complain about in-game errors. and it is no ones fault you died from a unability to bring food/eat food. it is you're own connection that causes lag. jagex isn't out there to get you.
and 17th... one reason shouldn't stop an idea. it won't be a over the game chat like xbox... it will be a chat thing like clan chats... learn to read the beginning... also you would be able to mute people. People like you are why wild and stuff got tooken away the first time people you complain about something stupid rather than ignoring what the stupid thing is. like old wild... dont go into it if you will die... just like kids... dont talk to them if you don't want. I agree with 17th, but i still think it'd be kinda cool. There should be a report button similar to with regular chat. Also, if this were to come into play, there should be some program that would prevent the speakers real voice from being heard, kinda like a voice box.

I'm sure jagex would give the chance to leave channels to not hear such things. Jagex wouldn't ever imagine of taking on the leviathan issue to make voice chat work all over runescape. Java couldn't handle such a task. But yea ur right, lots of kids acting tough over a voice comm program? It's overrated
