Well to see voice chat in Runescape would be an amazing idea. It would clearly show everyone the advancements in Runescape. However if voice chatting came to be, Runescape would have to be downloaded..Correct me if I am wrong. Now that would also be purley amazing because if Runescape was down-loadable, Runescape could do a lot more than what Java restricts them from doing. For example making the max cash stack more, it would also allow more updates to be added more frequently. Overall it would be an amazing idea and would also open up more slots for advancement!

This would really help me and my clan out when pking as it is very hard to type while four guys are piling you. The only downfall will probably be runescape players being able to be verbally abused and probably be led away from runescape to some scam sites through voice.

I disagree with people saying it would be worse, it would be no different other than people using their real voices. Also, there's already plenty of people that verbally abuse people via public chat/pm. With yahoo chat when you ignore people, it ignores everything - including their voices. If voice was optional for players, like ignore features, this would be a wonderful idea. Clan leaders should also have an option to turn it on or off in their cc's.

@ Jungles If Jagex did this, they most likely would have it streaming live. I do not believe it would require anything else to use it besides the additional bandwidth to actually use voice.
