12: Yes, and the clan home threads reinforce my perception that they are full of drama.
I'm sure that many Clans are great places full of cool people. I just think many of them are too regimented, and seem more concerned about status than the game or having fun. Hopefully, that perception will change one day. I keep checking the recruitment threads, waiting for one that seems inclusive.
While we are discussing clans, my two cents: Jagex sponsors too many Clan based events, and should pay equal attention to lone players. I would attend many more CMT events if they weren't geared to clans to the exclusion of those of us who don't belong to a Combat Clan.
13: OMG- my friends' kid played it. He was hanging out at my house one day, and showed me. Made an account, got members for it the next day. Been an addict ever since :)

13. Where did you first hear about RuneScape?
An IRL friend told me about this game back in the summer of 2002. It was back in RSC time. He always said he wanted to show this game to me and said the name a few times, but I always forgot the name.
Then at october that year, he was here at my home and showed me this game, when we finally had internet at home.
And since the first of november 2002, I've been playing this game. :)

A:My brother played back when it was classic, then quit then came back when RS2 came out, I watched him whith intrset for like a year or two, then he made me my first account =] What a happy day it was, of course I've made many more accounts since then. And my main: Shmus/IDF_Matkal is my main today =]

P.S) RuneScape is a big part of my life for many years =] (Of course I vulonteer at the zoo every week, study hard and council at a youth group... But free time at home = Rs!!!)

8th grade in middle school (To set the time frame from the game's perspective, this was some time shortly before the Rs2 beta, I believe).
Some friends had brought it up during class, and I decided to check it out. I made an account and couldn't figure out how to get out of the first room on Tutorial Island. I ended up quite frustrated and quit after about ten minutes.
A few weeks later, after the beta had been officially released, I tried again and found it a little easier to navigate the dreaded portal. This was the account that I stuck with.
