@Vlumondoxa - You are absolutely allowed to help others in the way that you did and thank you for doing so. The F-Mod shouldn't have commented about your post.
@Chief Elf - The actions taken by the F-Mod was correct. That thread was getting derailed and the discussion became distasteful, as you said. If this thread had been worded more appropriately and sincerely and the discussion wasn't distasteful, this thread might have done some good for honoring other things. However it wasn't that and the F-Mod decided to put an end to it. The moderation in general is consistent however. We allow topics that are controversial like race, religion, etc on these forums but they are moderated more heavily and this thread was treading on that controversial line. At the end of the day, it's a judgement call. Like I said earlier, if the thread had been more appropriate and structured with good intentions - then there wouldn't have been any problems at all.
@NexOrigin - I take complaints very seriously and if a situation wasn't handled with already - then it's probably not a situation in the first place. If I have to look into things further than I will.
@Fenforge - This isn't a complaint about a Forum Moderator's action. Do not post anything like this again - especially because it was completely uncalled for. Consider this a warning.
