Hi Lord Xin,

I can assure you that the person who contacted you was most definitely NOT a Jagex employee.

Invitations to become a PMod will only ever be sent via the inbox.
In addition, Jagex employees always have the word "Mod" as the first part of their name, and a gold crown will appear in front of their name in any chat window (including PM)).

You did the right thing in declining as they would probably have directed you to a website designed to steal your login details.
