I thought their emphasis when they were first introduced a few years ago was to provide support for parts of the community that primarily operated in different languages – particularly Spanish and maybe Portuguese. Now, despite still being called "community partners", their role seems more outsourced community management (I don't mean that negatively) which allows them to cover timezones that JMods, who all live in the UK, cannot. Yes, indeed! We had support for Spanish RuneScape (when it was available) through Axeso5 but as soon as LMods disappeared back then, so did its support and it subsequently led to the Spanish RuneScape's demise.

Hi, welcome to RSOF. After reading through this thread one paticular question appears to have gone unanswered. Although this question has been asked several times & has not been answered as of yet, I, too am wondering what the name of the company that has been described as a 'new community partner with Jagex' is?

Although I haven't been as active on RSOF as in the past, I still try to keep up with what is going on with Jagex. Mind you I might of missed something but after a quick review of press releases & such since the end of last year I haven't really seen anything that has been published by Jagex about a new community partner. Jagex is pretty good about publishing that type of information. [1]

In addition, because Jagex has always introduced Lmods to the community & what company the Lmods are associated with it should be understandable as to why this question is being asked, not only by me but from other members of the community as well.

Even though CM Zone appears to acknowledge this question on post 8.3, the answer to what company the Lmods hail from continues to remain unanswered.

Yes, welcome back Winds.
I too have wondered where the purple mods come from.
For me, its a question of faith.
Is there a CM team any more?
Can anyone else see them?
Maybe they come from the magic land of purple mods.
Maybe they are a manifestation of the dreams of the sleepwalker that holds the Jagex rudder.
Sailing away from us, abandoning us to the mercies of these purple strangers who wont even tell us who they are.
Maybe they themselves don't know they are. They don't seem to know much about anything except platitudes - formulaic, artificial, saccharine.
I hope, in a way, that they are software.
