That comment was completely unnecessary. If someone is reporting someone inaccurately, Jagex will deal with it. If they are breaking the rules, then you may report them in Forum Help or Forum Emergencies.

To be clear as I have seen so much flaming and insults in this thread.. to avoid assumptions I would like to state: I am not a child I'm an adult with children of my own (one who is a piker lol), yes I played before the removal of trade/wilderness, yes I used the wildy back then. I'm not posting because I'm a cry baby, scared to die or losing items, I'm not making assumptions on previous or future posters or meaning to insult

I like many others would like to see a split poll, be able to vote yes/no to wilderness & free trade seperatly. As a community runescape has many styles of players and whatever side of the yes or no vote to the wilderness/trade returning that I am on I do think that everyone should be catered to where possible.
TRADE - That I'm not sure on. I did miss being able to gift friends when it was removed but RWT and bots dropped greatly afterwards and it's been so nice not being surrounded by them while skilling. Jagex claim they are able to deal with it but I found myself reporting bot after bot in Catherby earlier, many of them I have seen regularly over too long a period. If these bots are not being removed how are we to expect jagex to be ontop of them with the new bots to come.
WILDERNESS - I'm not a piker I appreciate that many enjoy it and I did go into the wild for agility, clues and RC etc then. However there's always going to be those who want to pvp and those who don't and I do like the idea of a "Toggle ON/OFF" for PVP.
I have played many other games with a toggle option and found it makes for a happier community as a choice is given. I do think that once you toggle PVP option ON then it should remain ON for several online hours without the option of turning it OFF untill the online timer has ran it's course. This will prevent people from turning it ON and OFF to suit while in the wild, keeping pikers happy but also allow those who wish to avoid it totally the option to play the way they enjoy and keep it OFF

@ dan, dan you are a special kid... the instructions for voting are very clear, it requires you to log in and then you have 3 options, YES, NO, or I DONT CARE... so wheres the scam kid?? you log in to the rs official website to cast the vote so what are you talking about??
P.S. all mmorpg's should have age minimum requirements because kids are getting dumber with passing months..

I would like to ask what will happen to forinthry braces? The only use for them would be for revenants in the wildy but apparently those are being relocated so would anyone mind giving their opinions on it?

To be honest, i think the results so far are not surprising. this game did have a LOT more life in it when the wilderness was around and free trade was around. skilling will now be a lot more benefitable too, prices for food and potions will sky rocket.
and the intense thrill of pking.

can we make this a new years gift update? thatd be awesome.

yea man i remember when p pots where like 8k+ cuz they were in high demand. now people dont like to pk as much because they risk millions to get chump change.

If Jagex are confident they're able to prevent mass amounts of bots in the game, then I cannot see any reason why not to have the wildy back, as that was the only thing ruining the back in 07 IMO.
(Just a heads up, 'Click Here' to be linked to the referendum page does not work for me. Not sure if others are having this problem.)

the people are right, treasure trials/clue scrolls will be harder and people enjoy going to battle monsters such as KBD with their clans and not having to worry about other players attacking them. I was thinking that you could make SAFE WILDERNESS WORLDS where you can not be attacked by other players in the wilderness but can still be attacked by NPC's

You know what. I'm amazed that the human race still exists with the amount of stupidity and neglegance that I'm seeing some people post with on this topic. Obviously they don't carry that with them outside the game.
For all you "silly" people that think the wilderness will be swamped with hundreds of pkers on every world set out to ruin your clue scrolls are making me so angry. You have clearly never played with the old wilderness and have no idea what it used to be like so stop making stupid assumptions and mindless opinions because you sound pathetic.
I used to be able to go into the wilderness all the time and complete my clue scrolls, most of the time without bother at all. Yes, I did come across the odd pker here and there but there was a time when people used to just stop being a noob, quickly log out and change world. I guess that's far too hard for some people these days.
And as for people crying about mass botting etc, do you ever go to green dragons above the varrock wilderness? Have you seen the amount of bots flooding every world with their cannons and welfare gear, farming d bones?
Seriously most of you are just following on from what some complete idiots have cried about. I am yet to see a good explanation as to why we shouldn't bring the wilderness and free trade back. There isn't one; so the quicker this update happens the better for jagex and the better for 90% of rs.
Oh and as for the people saying they will quit. Good riddance; now you know how 100,000+ players felt when they got given pvp (what a load of crap that is) and had their pking and staking taken away.
