I dont understand the need to bring these things back. Were they not taken out for very good reason(RWT, etc). Why remove the limit from the grand exchange? Whats the point in having it if the limits are removed? I have played since 2003 and really prefer the way things are now to back then.

why are there two posts about free trade/pvp in non-pvp wilderness?
yes, you can already pvp in the wilderness, simply go to a pvp/bounty world.
so, the vote is for one item, but claims to be for two. the vote is to be removed as a false advertisement as pvp is already allowed in the wilderness.
allowing free trade will condone the use of third party software and illegal sales. it will also condone the tactic of selling for a high price in free to play worlds the items like lobster that you can easily obtain in member worlds.

Pvp worlds ( I don't do bh much as very lucky accs have a greater advantage here than in pvp) with their whole ep system and all are complete bs. Risk 4-5 mil, pk in the mils and get 10k or less if your ep is 0. That is just a CRIME against the pker...
I personally think we should keep pvp worlds (for increased number of fights~less running around in wildie looking for ppl to fight) with old system drop (what you see is what you get).
So 'yes' is the appropriate vote for anyone not condoning unfair treatment of any Rs-er.
As for gold farming, what Jagex faile to mention is that the gold-farmers have already (for quite a lengthy stretch of time) found ways around the trade limitations as I have read affirmed by many astute Rs-er in many threads.

I personally have 1 billion gps (yes a lot of merching involved~buying usefull stuff cheap waiting for it to rise than selling it) and I didnt' buy any rwt.
I don't mind that much that some other rs-ers mite find it usefull to buy gold if it was from bonified rs players , not gold farmers that may exploit children in 3rd world countries(its well documented), and this is an unfortunate and terrible plight of some children not so lucky to be born in civilized countries but even 3 years of trade restricitons in RS etc have failed to stem the tide as gold farmers have found way to transfer between accs, even Gps in very short time . Recent world BBC news claim that gold-farming has recently increased to unprecedented heights(RS included), evidence Jagex's system against rwt has failed.

It's good to bring this back. Disregarding the fact that 90% of the people against bringing free trade back have no idea what they're talking about.
Bringing free trade / wilderness back kills way more problems then it brings.
(Assuming Jagex has come up with a stronger anti-RWTing / botting system) Free trade kills merchant clans. This simply means that if the G.E. is being raided, I can actually buy my freaking prayer pots from a legitimate seller. With free trade, it makes merchant clan operation extremely difficult for mass profit especially when price spiking will be harder for them to control.
And as for the wilderness, it finally makes PKing fair again. If you kill somebody wielding an AGS and you smite their protection, you should be entitled to their freaking AGS as loot. While with this new system, it could have been good if it was worked on better but it just lead to even more mass inflation / destruction of the market when people would just generate millions of GP quickly while losing little to none of their accumulated wealth.

I'm not saying that the wild / free trade are perfect, but they're alot better then chaining the community to distorted restrictions just to have a certain few people make mass profit off of the flaws in them while the legitimate player suffers.
If you don't support this update, you're either extremely ignorant or a person who abuses methods related to the G.E / PVP to make your E-Golds.

runescape allowing name changes before being able to completely remove illegal sales only helps the problem.
of course, if a player "needs" to buy gold, why doesn't runescape fix that? if the play wants to buy gold and doesn't need it, they should learn to play.
if you want trade as it was, it means you want to make money based on transfering items from one to another, and want to help ensure that it is harder to learn how to do this as well.
if that is the case, you can see the flaw in allowing merching to continue.
i merched for some money, but i raised over 100 overgrown cats before the ardougne cape existed while fishing and farming in catherby to feed the cat. you can make money without botting and merching, but i did merch so the solution must not harm others based on my excess of money from merchanting, nor should it harm others with an even larger excess of money from things that runescape has not yet fixed.

I think if free trade/old wildy comes back it would be good to allow only people who are friends like 3 months or more for free trade, so there will be no scammers and less botters and for wildy that they only lose the most valuable item and the others 50/50. :)
