It would be great to see the old wildy return to runescape, less excited for free trade but it would be cool to have it back anyway haha
the only downside is that of what others have been saying
I want to be able to walk around in the wildy without being pked, perhaps put pking in select worlds only but its up to jagex :P

I by far vote YES.
Even though the RWT could be somewhat bad, if you look it up now, there are no RWT sites in sight. :D
The free trade could have a great effect on Runescape community, and increase the Runescape population and happiness so that Runescape, and Jagex, can flourish.
43 of my friends left Runescape when free trade left, and the same thing with Wilderness PKing.
I hope you look into this and please bring free trade and the REAL wilderness back!

i have a suggestion when wild/free trade come back can you allow staking everywhere like it use to be instead of the dueling arena? please move if this is in the wrong forum i can't find the suggestion forum.

I am absolutely shocked that some people are comparing PKers to psychopath killers and whatnot that just want to "prey on the weak". What the heck? It worked perfectly fine before, in a game like Runescape big risks should be involved and PVP is a big part of that. NOBODY are forcing anyone into the wilderness, it's your choice if you want to go there. If some lvl 110 wants to go off and kill everyone he sees he has every right to.
I also noticed someone saying that "street knowledge" is needed to survive in the free market. Look, before the Dec. 2007 updates everybody had this "street knowledge", it was more like "common" knowledge, it's not rocket science. You'll be more educated for it.

I have been a member of RuneScape since 2005 and im not one to complain about changes.. but in 2007, when the wilderness and free trade were abolished I couldn't see myself playing the game much longer. The trade limit was ridiculously low, much lower than I ever expected.. but I fully understand why it was done.
Anyway, I returned just over a month and a half ago.. and I am delighted to hear this proposal.
I've read through this thread and it seems the people who are against it.. are those who just want RS to be easiest for them, instead of being challenging.
Im not a PKer, I even use abyss to RC.. but yet I welcome the return of the old wilderness.
It's exciting and plus I absolutely despise revenants, they are worse than PKers.

I think Jagex have probably made it too easy for PKers now with D Claws, Turmoil, Vengeance etc.
Players will train pure accounts in Prayer, Mage etc with the free trade and they will be unstoppable.

Okay first of all, this is amazing news. I quit awhile back, and I heard news of this and I know many friends, aswell as me flocking back. Just wondering though....WHEN WILL THIS HAPPEN?? WHEN WILL IT BE REINSTATED INTO RUNESCAPE????
