see what livinglarge has to tell you. it says enough. and did they change it back? yes after 1-2 years or idk how long. so gl at world of warcraft.
btw a poll shows us wich vote people like the most it is obviously YES and now the people who voted no go cry that 9% is still alot omfg kinda lame. a poll is all about wich vote get the most votes and that is YES with 90%:S? i think jagex feels more to pleasure the 90% then the 8% dont you think so.
@ayameko i think you didn't play back in the oldschool days. back in the time every world had 1700~ players online almost especially around 20:00 gmt+1 and now:S...?. this is what i remember and i can tell you i remember the old days very well (it was way nicer to begin as a newcomer then, then start now)

I'm sick of all these skillers complaining that they can't do clues, runecraft and will get pked.. I mean seriously, have a cup of concrete and harden the up.
The wildy is supposed to be a dangerous place, not a place for arts and crafts.
Also, you get all these newschool players that haven't been around to see the old days don't know what it was like and would vote no because they never experienced it, but either way we're winning the vote severely so it shouldn't be much to care about I guess.

Vote YES. Can't wait for runescape to finally come back to how it was, mybe not the same with pvp items now and back to no wilderness ditch etc etc, but still, it'll be a dream come true.
It's great to see jagex finally come back to their senses and make a perfect descision instead of a poor one. I've waited years and hoped for the return of the wild/stakes/no trade limit, the way rs should be.
Thanks for comng back to your senses, FINALLY, Jagex.
You should get alot more members back now, considering half the rs population quit in 2007...

Pking is what made runescape. It's the WILDERNESS dont take what you're not willing to lose, if you cant figure that out you shouldn't be able to play rs which shows you're under the age of 13 ( age to play ) or just dumb.

Im not worried about old wildy coming back, Im just worried about economy and what will happen to GE when free trade comes back..
And I hate it when people say "You vote No because you didnt play when old wildy was still there!" I did play back then but I dont really want it to come back..
So I voted NO because I just feel like its not a step forward.. its a big step back. If you remove something from the game to stop things like RWT you shouldnt bring it back.
AAAND I find it pretty sad that people say its dream come true... I dont dream of video games, it sound pretty pathetic...

If anything, the economy will improve, being as prices are allowed to move more freely. And after playing for 3+ years, paying Jagex for a game that has been severely lacking, and all this money I have payed, it literally is a dream come true to see them returning the favor.

First of all, it's not a step back, if you read the article you'd see where they explain about that. So it's not a step back, they'll get alot more members and clearly according to the votes atm, 90% want this.
Second, not literally a dream come true, but something I / We've been wanting for a long time come back that we love(d).

Well, for those of you complaining about the old wild ruining your silly little clues and quests, here goes:
-ATLEAST READ WHAT JAGEX SAID-
Jagex said that if the old wild was to be re-established, that they would move corp, clan wars, look on clues on individual basis to see if they should be moved or not, and guess what? in old runescape, if you had a clue that led to the wild, it was part of the treasure hunt!
Clues in the wild are meant to be dangerous!! the wild is not meant to be a safe haven!!
Establishing the old wild and free trade will GREATLY help the economy for those of you saying it will not.
Why? THE PRICE CEILING AND PRICE FLOORING WILL BE REMOVED.
Just like in real life, when the economy is left alone, it blossoms and prospers.
The bot problem.
Jagex didn't have as large of a staff as they do now back then. They couldn't combat the bots and didn't have up-to-date methods of dealing with them, which now they do!
If you're complaining about yew tree's being botted, well guess what! go to green dragons at any world at any place, and it will be PACKED with BOTS!!!
The addition to the wilderness back into the game will prevent people from botting dragons. IF they do bot dragons, you will find people like me killing them (:!
The Grand Exchange:
Because of free trade, "merch clans" will be ruined. The price ceiling and price flooring (max and min prices) of GE will be removed, so if one intends to "buy out" an item, players can still buy that item without having to pay 2b for a divine buying junk, they can pay 1b or so without junk. (Just an example, not actual prices).
In conclusion, the update back then was needed, but with the current improvements jagex has made, as a 9 year 8 month veteran of runescape, i FULLY support this update.

I was wondering why we couldn't have the option to vote for only one of the options and not the other. Some people may want to vote for on of the options (for example: old wilderness) and not the other (free trade). This makes players make mixed decisions. Either they really want one of the options so they vote "yes" for both or if they want both of of the options which will also result in a vote for "yes".
