Hello. I'm your average troll, i live under bridges and eat slop...
Today i've had a good adventure, i went to a website that asked me if I wanted to bring back the trade/wilderness...
Ofcourse, I am a troll, and what do trolls do?
I massively spammed the vote button, but to my suprise, i needed a runescape account name...
I ventured to your highscores, and to my astonishment...
I Found hundreds and thousands and millions of usernames at my disposel and quickly started clicking away..
Oh my gosh that was getting quite hard on my fingers...So i created a MACRO to do it for me...Oh how i loved those hundreds and thousands of votes i just created...
So that was my big adventure... Hope you enjoyed it!

It seems to me that the only reason they would want to bring these back is an increase in customers, and it is depressing to hear that they are giving in. This is very similar to the California petition to legalize pot: the results and the arguments are pretty much the same.
Argument: People will do it anyway, so why work so hard to stop them?
Results: Generates more customers and income, but causes the cheating levels to skyrocket.
Really Jagex? Do we want to encourage players to cheat and break the rules and deceive others? The correct answer is NO: we do not. You have spent so much time and effort trying to fill the gap that the omitting of the wilderness and free trade created, don't turn it all into a waste.
Yes, you may lose customers. Yes, many people may complain that the game will never be the same. *Maybe it never will!* But don't betray the honorable customers that have stuck with you for your entire decade.
So that's my piece, and (just in case you couldn't tell) I vote NO!

You can.. old wildy = not skulled keep weapon + prayer 3 valuable items..Good loots Pk what you deserve.
new wildy=keep one thing or nothing kill someone and get bones and a few antipoisons (1)

I am disappointed in the way this "vote" has been set up. if you are going to have the players decide on if the old wildy/no trade limits should return so be it, but at least make the vote a fair one where players can express their opinion, and if they want to vote no are given that option.
i also think that there should be separate votes for the old wildy and no trade limits, as currently you either have the option to vote yes to both, or "boycott" the vote, which might not necessarily be what the player wants.
onto this "boycotting" stuff then. if a player is against these proposed changes, they aren't given an option to vote no, they just have to not vote. however there is a MAJOR flaw in this, as this "voting" system doesn't even require the person to login and confirm their identity. to cut it short, in this system it is possible for someone to say, enter a friends username and vote for them, effectively cutting any opportunity to boycott the vote and also shows that the vote may not actually be representative of what people want.
i feel that the current voting system for this should be changed, so that it at least requires the person to login and confirm it is they that is actually voting, and not someone voting on their behalf. there should also be an option to vote no, otherwise it isn't a fair vote. i also think there should be seperate votes for the old wildy and trade limits as players may be for one but not necessarily
for both
TL;DR version: the voting system is flawed and needs changing
