The only people posting here are against it because the vast majority of the community would love to have these things back and are going onto the poll to vote for it.
Sure, cheaters could have easier chances to do what they do. But if you think about it, they will continue to cheat whether or not this update happens (just like when the wild was taken away in the first place).
You were scammed or lured and you lost a lot of valuable stuff? That's your fault. Jagex shouldn't have to install a failsafe to keep you from doing something stupid.
Removing the trade limit and bringing back the wild is almost any old player's dream. That was when you could help friends out with cash and items**** with clans and give/get real fair shares of loot, have drop parties or hide 'n' seek events during 99 parties or clan events.

Wow this is a sad poll. If jagex doesn't get rid of this poll and come up with one where you actually login and there is a NO button clearly defined, then it means that they have already decided and the old wildy will be reinstated. Hopefully it was just a mistake and they will fix this and do a repoll soon.
P.S. If anyone from Jagex says April fools! (Yes I know it isn't April, its just an expression) and says they were kidding, I will quit and(this is a FACT)thousands of other players will as well.

97 pages of posts and just bout everyone of them are against the idea, yet somehow their is 400k+ votes of bringing back the all that crap and their isn't even that many people online at the moment.
Seems like the people that don't want it back are gonna have to deal with the fact that Jagex fails at voting systems =/
Oh well guess it's time to go find a better game.

DEAR JAGEX,
I FOR ONE, Are a qualfying free player and are able to post on the forums.I do believe that bringing back the wilderness and the free trade will raise the current players online to around 250k like the "time before".
Bringing them back will not only attract more players, but will also attract more attention from all age groups, and this is important to you guys you're runescape game will explode with popularity and will be regarded as one of the best online multiplayer game's along with world of warcraft and others;
I have been playing myself for a long time and I, Speaking on behalf of my old mates that bringing back an aspect of what game used to be will attract ex-players like it used too. Dont worry about the gold farmers in asia or where ever they are, you guys will find a way to stop them.
Jagex, you must do this.

Hello. I'm your average troll, i live under bridges and eat slop...
Today i've had a good adventure, i went to a website that asked me if I wanted to bring back the trade/wilderness...
Ofcourse, I am a troll, and what do trolls do?
I massively spammed the vote button, but to my suprise, i needed a runescape account name...
I ventured to your highscores, and to my astonishment...
I Found hundreds and thousands and millions of usernames at my disposel and quickly started clicking away..
Oh my gosh that was getting quite hard on my fingers...So i created a MACRO to do it for me...Oh how i loved those hundreds and thousands of votes i just created...
So that was my big adventure... Hope you enjoyed it!

Think about this guys its a good idea for one they could get rid of grand exchange merching, they could be able to give your friends, brothers, sisteer,and online buddies gifts that you could only lend before, you could hlep someone out if they got hacked, and if you did get hacked well make a bank pin and put your stuff in b4 you log out.. DA. and if you relaly dont like wildy well dont say that just say free trade would be awesome because myslef i didnt like wildy in every world but i loved free trade with friends becasue doing quests are pain and also being friends for a long time and accidently deleitng a person you would lose that x4 trade limit bring back FREE TRADE best idea ever.
