As I see it this little flame war on the forum has been started to attempt to stop jagex from bringing back the wilderness and free trade. This little flame war has been started by only 7% of runescape players and should just be laughed off as nothing more than, either people that dont know how good the old runescape was, or people that have a hatred of the old runescape.
Final notes to the 7% out there, we won the wilderness and free trade have a real chance of coming back, so quit whining you have lost and at long last runescape can return to the way it should be.

Certain topics are being discussed over and over again regarding the effects of wildy/ free trade returning. Two I have seen very little about are:
~Begging
~Lootshare
Begging was a annoyance that almost every player went through. Even if it wasn't directed at them, they endured it in the public chat. I have enjoyed keeping my public and private chat open, and I fear that will change unless Jagex is planning on addressing it directly.
Will mods be able to temp mute players for excessive begging? How more crowded will high level worlds get trying to get away from beggars? In the end I'll have to accept turning off public and private chat to everyone seeing that begging was mostly a unpunishable offense.
Some beggars might use auto-type programs- making it a larger crime, but most will just type spam.
Lootshare was created to help boss groups share loot as it was no longer possible to free trade. I don't expect it to go away entirely- after all, a group of strangers may not trust each other to get the rewards fairly. But will we be able to turn it off? Depending on the boss- some players may want to help friends get an item for themselves- like a d chain from the Kalphite Queen. Free trade will enable that transaction again.

Them bringing back the wilderness may not do many good besides personal preference of the game. Personally i'm a little nervous to see what happens with the idea of Free Trade due to i know I've lost a bunch even when free trade was up but the limit notifications were added. O_o

That may be because the people playing are the ones happy with current RS... as would make sense...
Whereas the rest of us don't play anymore because it's a stupid child's game now. When the update comes, you'll see all those people back who are happy.
AND TO BE CLEAR:
IF YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO GET SCAMMED WITH ----> 2 <----- TRADING WINDOWS AND A GIANT BLINKING RED EXCLAMATION POINT... YOU DESERVED TO BE SCAMMED!!

And I forgot to mention those accusing the vote to be a farse, do you idiots really think that anyone could rig a vote that says 90% yes and 7% no if so please tell me how the hell that can be done, because I would really like to know.
