Of course the Wilderness and Free Trade shouldn't come back are you guys blind? This is not going to be a total rewind to 2007 there will be so many things that are going to have to be changed to incorporate this... and let's be quite frank here has Jagex really done that good of a job with major updates recently?
It is more than obvious that Jagex favors pkers because a majority of people in this game have pked***, or want to pk when they get higher levels. You can clearly see that Jagex does not want to lose the membership of their pkers with the update of C-L-I-M-B-I-N-G B-O-O-T-S... And also, how they are leaving a hilarious amount of time (30 days) for this referendum in the hopes that they will get enough votes to carry through with their plan. Even if they don't get enough votes to go through with it, I would be shocked if they did not change anything because it is their obvious intent to do so.
To all of the people who just want to go back to the "good old days" as a lot of you call it, I can only sit here and laugh at your immaturity at voting yes in this poll.
I will give you credit however, that the old wilderness could be much better incorporated than it is in this poll. Jagex gave you your own worlds to pk in for God's sake.. put the old wildy on those worlds??
Lastly, I would just like to say that the referendum itself was in many ways flawed, mainly because you don't have the option for voting yes to the wildy and no to free trade and vice versa. I personally don't want either of them to come back because of what I've stated earlier and that free trade will only make more of the hackers and gold farmers come back. JAGEX STATED THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE, "We will never be able to stop all of the gold farmers." Many of the gold farmers and hackers out there gave up when the trade limit came in because it was much harder and less rewarding to do so. With this update coming back you can bet on seeing more and more of them in the future.
