As a player since 2005 i feel compelled to share my enthusiastic support for the return of 2007 wilderness.
Grievances
1.The new Bounty hunter worlds are congested with teams and makes it harder for solo pkers to get a kill in deep wilderness. Old wilderness allowed us to pk in any world and there was less of a chance to run into a big team.
2.The 76k tricking business ruins the economy and isn't fair. I cant stand to kill someone with a whip and get a psaltery bridge then to see someone doing a trick and get a VLS. Old wild allowed us to get fair drops for the risks we take.
3.Staking was awesome and now you can make barely anything from it.
4.The old wilderness allowed more effective clan pking. Now we cannot share loots.
5.The drop system in the new bh world is terrible. People risk big to pk more efficiently. so whats the point of fighting them when your not guaranteed anything
JaGex im sure if you reinstate the wilderness it will bring back hundreds of players.
Solutions for rwt could include:Marking players who distribute an unreasonable amount of unbalanced trades as suspicious and investigating the account history of the player.
Perhaps a program that can detect the malicious codes used in botting.
Restriction of free trade for players under a certain total level.
Systems to detect multiple (not two or three but like 20) account made under the same i.p adress and investigating.
Perhaps captchas when skilling periodically.
I really hope to see the wilderness return because i get about 14 kills a day and die twice and when i check my bank i lost money, even if they had bandos or something.

I'm not a forum person. I like to get on this thread occasionally though and laugh at everyone crying because.. "RUNESCAPE MIGHT GO BACK TO BEING A DANGEROUS GAME. THEY ALSO MIGHT MAKE IT MORE FUN, ENJOYABLE, AND EXCITING AGAIN!"

The 90% votes will obviously win...making the game lousy for those who are purely into skilling or pvm (player versus monster) I really don't see the fun in someone killing someone else to take their stuff. Sounds too much like the ghetto or some other third world country mentality to me. Oh yea make some snivelling kid feel mighty and powerful because they managed to steal something from someone unarmed.... bah get a life! :)

So here we are with 820-something posts, many of which simply consist of players arguing back and forth.
Look people, Jagex knows *hat they're doing. That is inevitably true. They wouldn't do this if they thought they couldn't pull it off. Sure there are risks, sure there are plenty of things that could happen. But, we are members of the RS community and Jagex has always been working for their community. Sure, we may have to put up with bots and cheaters and the likes, and you may get scammed. But heck, we survived it in the past and now here we are with better tools, and we are better prepared than in the past to handle these things.
Honestly, if you can spot a possible flaw in a plan do you think the people at Jagex who work to see these kinds of things (and who get paid to do so) wouldn't see it? No offense to your intelligence, but I repeat: Jagex knows what they're doing. It's sad that we don't trust the group that built this game to do what they believe is best. They believe, as we can see, that giving the players the ability to choose whether these things happen or not is what they should do.
I personally am excited to see this happen, and if things go wrong, Jagex (again,as we have seen in the past) will always work to pull through it. It is our job as their trusted community to support them and express our opinions in a civilized manner. Seriously, they built us the #1 online multi-player game. Why on earth can we not trust them to do things that will work?

I was thinking guys (and girls, if that matters).
RuneScape has like 10 million players, and only 670k of them voted.
From those 670k, 'only' 90% voted yes, so that makes that 603k actually voted yes. (not even counting the 'fake' accounts)
This is not even 10% of the whole RuneScape community that wants the wily and free trade back.
And Jagex said they would implement it again when THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE COMMUNITY voted yes.
No matter what you say, with these numbers, the wily and free trade won't come back.
