Me too, this is a kinda huge thing , because Jagex has never made a referendum , they have never taken back anything on runescape that once have been changed. And just wildy is a very big thing. The free trade will just become a new opertunity to scam noobs but what aabout the high levels who wanna give money to their friends who his noobs ,, and then there is damn trade limits , that is kinda annoying. And btw i saw a guy , who had like 40gp money and some bronze stuff , he took his stuff and staked a 7 lvl higher player in wildy who had around 50k gp in the inventory , so this is why both these changes will be good and this will make old players come back to runescape !

Free trade lasted for 7 years and the economy was, to be honest with you, at its best. People were rich, rarely was anyone poor or losing out on any money. I know right now I'm making it seem like its 'real life' but I'm just saying the truth.
I've been through both, free trade & wild and no free trade & no wild. Now, before you say "The economy on runescape is great right now!" Listen to this. Christmas hats - 12 million to 91.1 million to 78.5 million in a matter of what? Six months at the most? Now thats the Grand Exchange talking so it's not 'scammers'. Don't believe me? Just one little item? Look at the Grand Exchange at the top of here under Game Guide. Look through that and see all the price drops or jumps by crazy amounts of money. Not just the little +1,200 or -103 I mean the graphs. Its not a _______-_ its more of a *--**-*--***-**-**-*--*-******- No steady price limit at all.
Free trade won't ruin the prices, it will fix them. Maybe not right away but I can gurantee after a week, maybe a month at the most, it will.

volcano man you are wrong, the only reason items go up to ridiculous prices are because of merchanting clans. The same thing is gonna happen but now instead of them asking for 28m + ???mil in junk they'll just ask for all of it in gold. free trade won't change the fact that there are greedy people out there who will ask you of your lungs if they could for an item.

The current system is rather stupid. In every MMORPG you are allowed to give things for free to your friends, or to actually provide a service in exchange of in-game currency. At the moment, however, you have to resort to the ridiculous "Junk trading", for any of these activities. Plus you can't actually even trade player-to-player with the 5% percent the GE allows. The supposed fairness is also present only at times, since the GE is in a huge number of cases not synch'ed with street prices.

Honestly i dont know why people are against the old wild except for the fact that it means they either a: cant bot green drags or b: didnt play in old wild.
In the old wild you could kill green drags just fine and maybe once in a while there was a pker but hey guess what just tele and they leave.
Also old wild made leveling more fun especially if you were a pker because like myself I hate lvling on goblins and wasting money on a lowbie, when i used to level pures from lvl 3 in the wild i made money and made friends that like the same stuff i did.
Staking was arguably the best thing for mains to do because once you are that high and have all the cash there is really nothing to do with it and the game gets boring so why not go lose about 150m then make back 200m? pretty win..
Bringing back the old wild will not only clear 90% of people who bot because green drags will be a pk spot and they will be like hey why bot when i can pk?!
Also since 2007 jagex's system to detect bots and rwt has gone wayyy up, with that being said it still sadly happens but theres no way to 100% cancel it unless you deleted the game.
Also the old wild will eliminate merchant clans which means that players will once again be able to make money off of skills without one guy getting 100 people together to buy up one item that is in demand and then the one guy dumps early and the rest dump their items and the items die.
True there will be merching i know i used to do it but the prices were never really that much different u just look for deals on the forums and then sell at normal price.
Also as long as your not in a pk world like w18 items wont be high priced but to be a pker you have to have no care for your cash pile
All in all the old wild imho is a good idea and free trade to. Puts the game back in the players hands

To the less intelligant guy adamant about not bringiing it back cuz rwt, hey smart guy look at the most popular paid mmorpg wow they have it they even do it themselves and if you really think it doesn't still happen I know people who sell there accounts it's not hard so what's the diffrence there isn't any I started playing about 9 years ago and quite when the ruined rs I came back with the chance of it being fixed
