I would love to see the old wildy back! I wasn't really good at it, but if you kill someone you know what you get: his stuff! Now it is some ancient stuff. I was pking all the time before 2007, since than i pked 3 times. I quit for 1 year, my brother did quit playing, reason: wildy gone.
Of course before the trade limit it was fun: giving stuff to my brother, getting stuff from his account, but after the trade limit, I learned something new: skilling.
The last thing I want to say: for all the ones against: you say you care about RWT, i do too, but i bet jagex wont just reset the game for 3 years. I am sure they will find a way to prevent scamming (like putting the price below the item so you can see what it is worth=> suggestion)And I don't think if they really want to prevent scamming, rwt... AND do the update, they will find a way to do it, and if they found one: we can all welcome the good old wildy

I would like to think that there would be a way to be able to runecraft without being killed doing it. That is the only area of wildy that I would every want to go into. If you allow player killing at every single world, then that would be a real shame.
If you do bring back the player killing then please consider leaving one world where it is the same as now for all those who want to runecraft at the abyss.
Or another alternative would be to have the area around the abyss inaccessable to player killers.
Either that or just have one world where they are all killing each other off.
Whatever the outcome I sure hope the abyss will be protected.
The other areas of concern are quests in the wildy.
You might consider protecting them from player killers too.

Would it be impossible to craft air battlestaffs with any safety or to access the Dungeoneering Dungeons located in wildy areas???????????????
So many areas of play that would be totally out of my bounds if you bring that back in.

Odd how the PVP and bounty worlds are the ones with normally the least people in them...
Perhaps the real demand for PVP is less than the vote suggests?
As for scamming, it may be a learning experience, but that should not mean the Jagex does nothing about it.

In my opinion, i think the free trade option should be brought back, but i still think pvp worlds and bounty worlds would be better than the old wilderness. I don't really fancy walking around in the wilderness and getting KOed by a high leveled player lol.

So what I found hilarious is how jagex said thousands of times, "we'll never bring the wild or free trading back!"
I'm totally down for old wildy and free trade back. I believe I read that the G.E. won't control the prices, so no mass buy-out and price manipulations(yay) The players can make their own prices finally. For the people talking about getting scammed back before 2007. The trade menu has been changed so much since then, it'd be very difficult to get trade scammed now :b and for the people who got scammed in the wild, never bring anything in the wild you are'nt prepared to lose, quite simple. the best way to learn from something is have it happen to you.
Just wanna say thanks to jagex for throwing this out here. As you can see by the polls many many many people agree... bring the old wild and trade back

seeing people come to their senses... i like it.
great words from lucky player and L r
if people want and easy game that gives a player everything without them having to learn or work for it...you know go play something else.
all these whining(spell check would be great) people are people that were not here when RS was good they joined after that and don't know what there missing. the people hyped it up. for example rwt has not been stopped by this system, in fact account stealing and keylogging have actually risen.

I havnt played for like a year now due to college but when I heard about this update I wanted to check it
My views on the trade were slighty mixed the bigger picture on tade limits is merching, g.e caused alot of inflation trade wise only allowing the extremely rich to afford 'rares' this also contributed to rwt. I don't think bringing back trade would have much affect on them as they do still exist and it's pretty much nearly impossible to get rid of them. As for scamming well I got scammed but didn't complain simpy press the report button and report them... Simple it was more of a learning experience to get scammed as I didn't get scammed after that. Though I hope that jagged can prevent the 10000 bots from cutting yews etc as yes that was ridiculous when I played.

As for wilderness I personally think pking is for the Wildy and Wildy only ,they had a good concept of new bh but it did have floors of major lagg and drops being 5k when you kill them with 5m on them. Though i agree to give a safe path for those who want to go to cws or fog e.g make a couple of worlds safe or even move the minigames to a diffrent location.But my return for the game for Wildy is not certain as most of my friends in the past year have quit and slowly making the game dull but I would like to see how this update goes

Before the trade limit was added jagex had over 1 million paying members which had a total cash flow of over £3.6 million Per month before costs. This was reduced to a lower figure which is why the wilderness will make the game beter as Jagex will be able to make the game better as more players will arrive and pay for membership.
