Please note that before you read this that I did **te "yes" in the referendum vote.
I like to consider myself an old time player. When I had first heard about Jagex's decision to remove the Wilderness on December 10, 2007, I thought that there was no way that the playing community would allow it to happen. At the time I was not a very big PKer, but as the months after the update rolled on, I began to notice that Runescape began to change, not just through updates, but it seemed to me that the players started to act aggressively toward Jagex, and this sense of disarray and anger overwhelmed the player community, tearing the game apart.
As for free trade, I think that it would indeed make RWTing easier for companies, and I will not deny that, but I do think that in reality, it is the players who represent Runescape, and it seems to me that if the overwhelming majority yearns for the return of free trade, I say, do not let a small minority have louder voices than the overwhelming majority, just listen to the players.
I respect the opinions of all players who are against the return of the Wilderness and free trade, but I feel from the majority's standpoint, it must come back.
Thanks for reading.
