AGREE STRONGLY WITH THE POST ABOVE...IT FELT REAL!! IT TAUGHT ME HOW TO MANAGE MONEY FROM AN EARLY AGE, HOW TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED ETC.
Also removal of the new wilderness will stop "Whip drops" being sold so will therefore help PREVENT RWT as such drops are valuable. Its naive to think RWT doesn't happen even now, and it ultimately prevailed when Jagex destroyed runescape.
A vote for FREE TRADE is a vote against RWT, its a way of Jagex rewarding players while putting out a strong message that they feel ready to combat something which in the past they didn't feel strong enough to combat. RWT will never end and when it was cited as the reason for removing free trade I was devastated. Runescape gave in to RWT's and admitted defeat, yet it still happens and if we removed everything which made RWT possible, Runescape wouldn't exist!! It was a decision made in a commercial context (and in the interests of the business) and I'm glad that finally Jagex is listening to the community as without us, runescape wouldnt function.
FREE TRADE DISTINGUISHES RUNESCAPE IN MY OPINION FROM GAMES LIKE OBLIVION ON PS3, IT MAKES IT REAL. YOU GET A SENSE THAT EVERYTHING YOUR DOING IS REAL. YOU MAKE DECISIONS FOR YOURSELF. DOING QUESTS, PLAYING MINIGAMES - THAT'S ALL WELL AND GOOD BUT FREE TRADE IS WHAT MADE RUNESCAPE GREAT!!
