"I voted no because I don't like the potential return of massive real-world-trading.
Also, I wouldn't like to see the GE funtions (min/med/max prices) removed.
I strongly suggest to keep a "med price" funtion, so people have an idea of an item's value when trading in the GE. I could imagine new players trying to buy full rune for 20K and waiting for a never-completing offer... "

Yea, it will be easier for RWT to happen, but they seem confident in their new tech, and I still trust what they say.
Pretty sure they will be keeping mid price, they worked lots on that GE DB.

I am very much looking forward to the return of free trade, staking and wilderness. However i think that the GE is one of the best things jagex has done, the ease of trading with this system is fantastic. I think the keeping the GE the way that it is would be better and if players had the desire to try and find someone willing to buy or sell an item for a price the GE didn't cater for then they would be free to do so. I am also very pleased that jagex are keen to keep some of the game mechanics they have developed over the past years and try to rework then to fit into runescape once more.

As long as I have been playing, I have seen Runescape improve more than any other game out there! This game only gets better and better, Until 2007 however. I had quit because after making a new account in which I can merchant and P2P PVP, the Free Trade and Wilderness was banned. It hit Runescape like a landslide! Well I came back a year or so later, and noticed that ALMOST every player who has 1m, 10m, 100m or even more, has earned it, and I respect that. Their are players out their still that buy gold and give away their accounts to other websites hoping that they will log back on with money or items; and players who were lucky enough to get rares way back than. And thats fine, Im not into that, I would like to EARN my money, and my skills by my self. However, even after all these changes to Runescape, I am for Free Trade and wilderness. Yes RWT and Scammers will come about more often but I do see Jagex working on bringing down those other companys that "cheat" Runescape and Jagex is doing a great job! I say Vote Yes to Free Trade and Wilderness & Bring back the Glory Days :)
P.S... Get rid of Gold4Rs.***!!! ;)
GoodJob Jagex!

@Fishinator42 - THANK YOU.
I'm so sick of reading users' rants about inflamed prices, and people not being able to tell what a good and bad deal looks like. With Jagex keeping the Grand Exchange, all 'street prices' will be listed promptly, to help keep users safe.
**Also, the average price is still displayed at the bottom of the trade screen.**
Think of the Grand Exchange as a buying guide, or a catalog.

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one to read that part.

I started to play Runescape back when the rubber chickens were given out (sorry i don't know the year). Yes I was scammed often and lured into the wildy multiple times but that was a long time ago. I assure you that I will not be scammed by someone claiming to trim my armor for free. I believe that being scammed as a young player really made me develop as a player more quickly and even gain a few pointers to watch out for when dealing with people in real life (now that ive grown into an adult I and more aware of scammers and look out for them in real life, something that being scammed in runescape helped me develop).
Another thing that everyone has been arguing about is the fact that RWT would return worse than ever.Do youreally think that Jagex would even consider bringing back free trade and the old wilderness back if they didnt really think about this with each other to debate it? If you read the update thing, you clearly see that they have improved their technologies in preventing bots and fighting RWT.
To people arguing over the wilderness coming back, read the article Jagex put up and see how they are working on it. If you are too scared of dying in the wilderness then there is a simple solution, don;t enter it. You may argue with me stating that you have to cross it to do certain things like the mage arena or clue scrolls. My answer to this is that the mage arena and clue scrolls existed in the old wilderness. They were just fine there. From what I can see, most people arguing contrary to this update are angry because now they cant be lazy anymore.
