i do not like the idea of either.
because a lot of pkers have no morals.
btw most are a bunch of kids and they do not care one way or another.
the kids should leave rs. and the aduls should stay.
i am adult myself. btw it is most of the troublemakers on rs are kids themselves looking for trouble.
either you put them in a world and let them kill each other and let us adults play in peace. khanbibi madskills admin

I DO NOT want free trade and old wildy. I love Runescape just the way it is and think that the way this vote is carried out is unfair. People with one account who don't bot and pk will vote "NO" to this and the people who bit and pk with multi-accounts will vote "yes" on all their accounts. So even if the Runescape communities vote is 50% YES and 50% NO it will end up looking like there is a 20% YES and 80% NO due to people with multiple accounts. PLEASE raise the trade limit and leave the ge the same and change the wildy in some worlds so w can still have all the benefits of our current wilderness.

This is crazy, for those who have been here for awhile, free trade will mean "free trade", everyone will be selling their items on **** again and meeting at various places to complete the trade.
I love Free Trade in the real world, but in a video game it leads to actual money exchanging hands for bits and bytes of data. I guess the people making bots will have incentive to make even better ones since there will be actual dollars moving back and forth over **** again.
As to the wilderness part... anyone who wants that can go to the PVP worlds, ever notice how empty they are, that's because the majority of us don't want to deal with that on a daily basis!

I have mixed feelings about this...
Free trade: I like it, there isn't ANYTHING bad that can happen about that.
Wildy: I would absolut** HATE if the wildy was dangerous. Pkers are probebely worse that revs.
I wish it could be a seperate vote

I have spoken with members of my clan and other long time members of Runescape and we all feel very strongly that the referendum question should be split in to two separate questions.
The majority of people seem to want the free trade back, but in order to get it, the wild pvp will be back too.
People who want to pvp, have their own worlds. Now they are going to be back in our worlds and the the wild will no longer be accessible to the rest of us. Green dragons, red dragons, rune rocks, clue scrolls, penguins, stars, rune crafting thru the abyss etc. now all become an issue! Why should this area now be off limits to paying members who do not like the idea of killing other people?
Please, please separate these two issues!!

I salute you Gloin85. :D well said man. This guy has the right idea with it being the fault of the player, not the game maker. There is plenty of antiscam teaching in the game, but ultimately it's common sense.

I stopped playing Runescape after the wilderness left I, like others, only get on for the holidays. :) I may began playing again, and maybe my old friends will also. Vote YES. BTW all the worlds should be effected the wilderness should be dangerous, after all it is under Zamorak's rule. 'til then..

I'm in full support.
I've been on Runescape since '04, participated in nearly every event, and watched as it developed from a small, lag-filled, repetitive "Lunchbreak game", into one of the world's premiere MMO's ever conceived. I was there to hunt ghosts in Draynor Village, and to hack up the roots of the evil tree. I was there to hand out eggs given by the Easter Bunny. I talked to Shanty Claws in Karamja. And, I was there when the Free-Trade system and Wilderness Zone were removed.
I was in support of that movement, too.
And, now, after comparing the pros and cons of such a decision, I feel it's for the best. With the trade limit as it is, many of these new 'merch clans' are doing their best to manipulate the prices of all items in-game, and in some instances, it works. But they only beneficiary in said clans, would be the clan owner, as he/she makes the rules. All other participants are left with items that they can't profit off of, and as such, many more are scammed out of their money, than when we had a "laissez-faire" policy.
So, as I see it, you might as well bring it back.
