When I think about Good Old RuneScape coming back out. I just love the idea that you considered it and you'd like to make your community happy. Personally I Loved the Old RuneScape, but it was hectic.
I believe that if these updates are going to be brought back then their should be some regulations to keep things running smoothly.
For instance, if the items on the g.e have no limit as to how many you can buy, or how long you have to wait to buy/sell the items again like on the present g.e then merchant clans, or just plain merchants will own the g.e.
When it comes to the old Wilderness it would save you a lot of time instead of moving stuff around to just make a huge option menu when going into the wild that says, "would you like to pk and be pked?" if yes, happy pking, if no, enjoy the wilderness and all it's fun stuff.
I think this would straighten a lot of stuff out..

ugh sorry my stupid mouse was sticking. my pc has a mind of its own from time to time and it drives me bananas.
but that is neither here or there.
there is a lot of people who misbahave period and they use the game as and excuse to do so and it is not right.
even in game and in forum you have to have respect for others as well as yourself.
where btw is the mage arena going to be is it going to be relocated as well?

or is it going to stay where it is at.
and where are you going to relocate the revs to.
once i had to go to rouges i had to leave because revs was following me and i was there to do a clue.
it was so annoying that i did not go back i finally
ended up pitching the clue. khanbibi madskills admin

The mage arena has ALWAYS been in the wild, even when pking was still around there, so no I doubt it will be relocated, and I'd cringe if it would be. The mage arena is an unsafe pking zone, so keep it that way.
Also, to those asking for the option to pk or not to pk:
Not a good idea.
Somebody could just click the option to not pk and scout ahead for some of their clanmates who are also pking.
Not very fair for pk wars. If you are in the wildy, it's understood that you are at risk of death, and a BIG popup saying so should come up, just as it used to do.

idk if runescape can tell us or not but i was just wondering, how soon is this going to happen if it is passed. Will it be like turned back as fast as you can or a certain date? I am sorry this isnt appropiate but id love to know when its changing. I for one will stay with runescape no matter which way it goes. Id like free trade but not the wildy and im mixed bout ge not having regulations but i trust jagex will do a good job as always.

I vote yes! If Runescape can keep the G.E. along with the its prices in the trade, then sure bring it back! :) I also personally would like to see the removal of revants as a part of the update. What is going to be done about clan wars then? I love the idea!

Against popular opinion, I voted NO.
I played long enough under the old system to still remember how I hated going into the wilderness and meeting up with "bullying" high level PKer's. I thought it was great when they had their own worlds, and we got ours. It was a game improvement.
I remember what it was like before the GE started. I liked it when prices were set withing a minimum and maximum range. I would have been willing to remove the trade limits and give that a try, because "junk trading" is just a
way around that anyway. But no option was even given to vote yes on one issue, and no on the other.
If this were spring time, I would suspect Jagex was making an "April fools joke". I can't believe they really think these reverted ideas would improve the game.
I also think half the people voting "yes" were not even playing three years ago...or they have very short memories.
