Concerning trading, how about free trade with no limits, but keep the bar at the bottom that shows the price difference? That way experienced players could trade however they wanted, and at the same time newer players would be able to see right through any scamming attempts.
I know this won't prevent RWT, but I think it would work really well against scammers.

Recently while getting ready to play rs I found the free trade/and old wildy reform on the main page. My first thought filled me with excitement because now I will not have to worry about the price of the item, just at what cost I can get the item at. So more thought into this matter is what stability will no price limit and trade limit bring to runescape players? My personal opinion is that items that are rare to be sold in the grand exchange will spike way into the millions or hundreds of k's. That normal items such as barrows could spike or downfall. with the current perdicament that Jagex faces with losing memberships and gaining new ones is that players will never be happy or be completely mad with the game. This voting system seems to have had its knots sorted out. Early on Friday I've had a chance to see Mod Petel in clan chat:light arcana. And he/she urged all players to voice thier opinions on this matter and vote. So I looked at the current votes and I only read 400k votes. This lead me to ask this question:
###How many votes is Jagex requiring for this reformation to be completed and to take effect? ###
Thanks for Your time. Feel free to pm me or just post on this thread if you think this is good enough to answer. :)
I'll reserve all judgments and put all faith in Jagex that real world trading and botting will be handled in full power and respect of the community and its laws. Until after the reformation has been accepted or declined.
EDIT: THIS WAS ANSWERED ACCORDING TO MOD OSBORNE: THE CAP IS AROUND 10MIL APPEARENTLY. THIS MAY BE WRONG.

Lol this is gonna be fun. People drop trading again and all the other funny things they do, but see my thing is i think it should be brought back because i mean people should have the right to be able to merch like they did back in the old days i remeber when i was merchin in fally w.2 and now i cant merch junk its all these big time richeys that only can because they can control the G.E at this moment so i think heck yea we needa bring the wildy and free trade back.

The change will most likely happen on new years day. Jagex already know how many people are wanting the free trade and old wilderness back so they are most likely already working on it. All that is left is probably the system update. When Free Trade & Old wilderness returns Runescape will enter a Havoc period. But that is what Runescape is meant to be like. That is the Original Runescape. Ever since the change in 2007 millions of players quit. Its going to be hard trying to get them all back because they all probably dropped there stuff in a drop party or something. That's the traditional way when you quit Runescape.

The air obelisk was a very popular camp site for the cowardly pkers back in the day. You know the ones who would never think to fight an armed player. The ones who scatter in fear of revs even now. The ones who want the old wildy back because they don't want to actually fight, they just want a quick kill. That's why they keep lying about the skill areas being safe. They want Jagex to continue to put non-pk related content in the wildy to encourage non-pkers to hop over that wall to be prey. I would rather have revs - they attack everyone, that's what makes them fair. If the wilderness does come back, I would love the revs to stay. Then those cowardly campers would have to deal with actually being attacked once in a while.
