All i see is a war about to start. I joined right after they got rid of the old wildy and free trade, so i have no past experience.
But i will say this, just make some worlds have it and some that do. Nothing will happen that will make everyone happy. Im mixed on this situation, but im leaning on to stay the same. I dont like change.

I read that the voting ends January 14.
Personally, I don't want the old wilderness back. However, I wouldn't mind the Free Trade's return.
Something's happening. I'm not the Jedi I should be. I want more. And I know I shouldn't.

Here is the original poem when the wildy was taken away on 12/10/2007...
T'was two weeks before Christmas, and all through Runescape
Not a player had known what would soon be their fate.
The updates were posted on the website with care,
In hopes that all players would like what was there.
I logged onto Runescape and what did I see?
Four new updates were listed, Wonder what they could be?
Real world trading is bad, its evil they say
A new Jagex fight against cheaters today!
Real money for gold, their raking in lots.
Kill all the autoers, kill all the bots!
Removing unbalanced trades, *What the heck is that?
Means all those merchants will never get their phat!
Farewell birthday gifts, no more helping a friend.
No more running nats, *Just where will it end?
This 1st post was painful, yet I just pressed through.
But I held my breath as I opened number 2.
Trade and drop changes, seems like lots of chatter.
I clicked on the link to see what was the matter.
3k gold pieces is now the trade limit.
No more getting Barrows, unless millions are in it
Drop parties are out, drop transfers are too.
A gravestone is left if a Fire Giant kills you.
No more getting rich when a noob makes a mistake.
Those items are no longer yours for the take.
I could not believe, in what was to be
With an unsteady hand, I clicked post number 3.
Wilderness changes? Please say its not so!
Revenant ghosts? Now thats a low blow!
Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunter, Why is it multi?
If you go solo, you surely will die.
I PKd for a living, I guess thats now done.
Jagex, you ruined it, its no longer fun.
No more PKing, no more easy dough.
No more Runescape, looks like its time to go

The poll results are clear

I stopped, exited, and did*’t look back.
I had my doubts. It could be a hack…

I waited and our fate unfolded.
I jumped, screamed, and cheered
Too good to be true? Of course feared…
Yes we are back.
The tables are turned.
But will we receive
What we desperately have earned?

It would be a miracle for things to go back to the way they were 3 years ago. Runescape has become a dictatorship over the last few years. How can you enjoy playing when its being controlled like this. Its a game and the players should atleast have the freedom to choose the amount they want to sell their items for.
I along with everyone on my friends list left this game with in weeks after free trade and uncontrolled wilderness was taken away from us. I will definitely be returning if these changes are made.

no matter what you guys say, The numbers don't lie. we want wildy and trade back!
if a skiller died in wildy by a rev it wouldnt really matter much anyhow. skillers tend to not do combat therefor cant teleport, so how are they even gonna make it back to their grave in less than 5 minutes?
plus a few things i've seen some of u say which I completely agree... Revs attk you NO Matter What (if they are ur combat lvl) in the past i've run past many people that never attacked me in wildy, hardly ever! (unless i was in a pk world)
and those revs are just overpowered. I was on my lvl 70 combat acc and this ork came up and maged me he hit 30 30 in less than 2 seconds. Dead. You are 10 times more likely to be attked by a rev in todays wild compared to a pker in old wildy (considering u are in a world not known for pking in)

Player 1 offers granite maul.
the price in the trade window shows it is worth 1 mil
Player 2 offers 1 mil, but very quickly downs it to 100k at the very instant player 1 clicks accept
player 2 is in such a hurry, he would have gotten scammed. But if the market price of the granite maul was 1m and player 2 sets an offer more or less than 5% of it's value, then a second window can pop up warning you about the huge difference in value. possibly showing the exact difference it is worth compared to how much u are going to receive from the trade.
The flashing "!" is way too manipulative. a secondary window is the key.
and possibly a timer. for the extreme difference of selling an item that is worth 1 mil for only 100k. a window could pop up asking if you are sure you want to sell for that cheap. and you cant click Yes until the message window is up for like 10 seconds and the price difference is printed very clear and big
