this game has an age limit, if your gonna cry like a 10 yr old kid cause your too blind to see your getting scammed then go play club penguin, im also a long time player, ive seen many kids complain about scamming and seen many kids being scammed, the majority is free to play... and we all know free to play pking is hardly pking, this update is for us that take pking as the heart of this game, and i know for a fact that if what the trolls are saying is true, that this is just some sham for a world record, that these hundreds of thousands even millions of players WILL quit just like when the removal of the wilderness happened in the first place...

[Continued] And for RWT'ERS. I mean damn, excuse my language but this game is truly exposing itself for the childish little babies that it carries on it. You cry about RWTING RWTING. Tell me this. HOW THE HELL DOES RWTING INCLUDE YOU. Just like there are gangsters, illegalists in real life. You ignore it and move on with life. Honestly, some of the thigns you guys say make completely no sense and it proves your pathetic logic and especially how old you are. The runescape culture was like this for years, and it had a hell of a lot more players so why are you acting like this update has never happened before. I want you to go take a look at old wildy pk vids and look at the comments. I will guarantee you my bank that you will not see one comment that says, " I hate this wild! I love the new pvp!" You will see messages like, " These were the good days of rs." Or " R.I.P Runescape 01-07."
I honestly don't get why you are crying about RWTing Jagex already said that can handle them I mean are you guys illiterate use your damn eyes and read what they posted. And for clue scrolls and such. Like I said before, RUNESCAPE WAS LIKE THIS FOR 7 YEARS SO WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE THIS IS NEW. It is not that dang hard to buy some freaking teleport and food. Or bring a friend with you. Honestly what are the odds of someone ( a pker) killing you while doing a clue scroll. Unless you are too immature and dumb enough to bring like full zamorak inside there ( wielding it) and exposing yourself to the open, then you deserve to be pked. The old wildy tested your logic. Now everything in Runescape is so child-safe, its like I am in a daycare. I have a freaking trade limit to trade my best friend? Like honestly wtf? I should be able to trade him whatever I want, why should Rwters decide how I share relations with others. RWT'ers and botters get banned. Move on with life. So stop bringing up that weak argument because Jgaex already said they can handle it. Just do the damn update.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Leave the wilderness there for people on pvp worlds why bring it back to general runescape play?? Also the revs wont be removed so it will be even harder to do clues or runecraft through the abyss let alone do shooting stars and stealing creation. Yes call me any names you like but I don't want the old wilderness back in any way shape or form. There is plenty of opportunities for players who like that type of gameplay to kill people on PVP worlds. Jagex remember what you said when you took the wildy away, you stated that the wilderness was larger than you intended and not how you had envisioned it would be for the game and was 1 reason you gave for removing it apart from rwt etc. Long live Runescape, keep the wildy on PVP worlds.
I vote NO to returning the OLD Wilderness

Thought I would post this on a sticky since, it has been my general reply.
I say no.
And here is my reasoning: (Note that this is if the game reverted to the 2007 status)
1: 98% of Pkers are immature and most of them wouldn't hesitate to break game rules. I seriously have only found one actual Pker that can have respect for anyone.
2: I don't feel like having to kill someone to complete a clue, mine a star or whatever I may do in the Wilderness. Yes, I can kill another player very easily, however I choose not to because I have this horrible feeling about killing people and making people lose their items. Call it a good heart. Yes, Jagex says that they will move everything in the wilderness. I can;t honestly see that happening. Will you move all of Jennica's portals as well? What about penguins?
3: Free trade would bring gold farmers and resource bots right back. Jagex can say all day long that their skills of controlling this has gotten better, and maybe it has, however when I have to kick several people out of my clan for cheating, I know that it has not been controlled completely, and I know it is not Jagex's fault, it simply cannot be fully controlled ever. This update would only intensify the situation.
4: Jagex stated that the wilderness will never be brought back, EVER! How can we trust a company that does not stick by their word?
5: I have been hearing that its not easy to be scammed. Perhaps thats true if you have been around for as long as I have. I started playing in early 2004. So yes, I have experienced both free trade/Wilderness for quite awhile. When the trade value option was added that was a great deterrence, however people that are new to the game will not know that items cannot be trimmed, for example.
6: The voting system for this is a joke. Let us have a yes and no vote, with the requirement of logging in and having at least a million total experience.

I love how people are so blind. RWT affects everyone. If bots take over green drags, how can we kill them for bones or hides,if bots hang around mining area's, how can we get ore to train smith, if bots hang around trees, how can we train wc, or get the logs for fm, or fletch. The only skills that wouldnt be affected in my opinion would be agility, summoning, and rc and thats it.
Also these gold farmers depressed the rs economy.
I also love all these people who say people who dont want wildy or free trade back are 10yr old whiners. But yet the same people were all in fally or varrock sqare in 2007 doing the same thing when the wildy was taken away. And alot quit rs all together. So dont throw stones if you live in a glass house.
If you want to pk, go to a pvp world or go to duel arena's. You want increased trade limits, do quests and be friends for someone for a while. If you have 300+ quest points and are friends with the person for 4 months, u can give someone 240k every 15 minutes, so u can still give ur friends gifts if u want.
There is no benifit to bringing these relics of runescape past back into existence. It brought scamming,cheating, and crime to the game, and runescape is better off without it.

PS. that meter on the bottom of a trade window came out when free trade was gone and the ge was created. If free trade is to come back, the ge will become non existent and the bar will either be gone once again or be inacurate at best.

I know tons of people botting as I breathe and then you are going to act like there are no bots right now. Let me try and tell you something. The old wilderness and old trading HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH BOTTING. I will repeat. BOTTING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OLD WILDERNESS/TRADING. The most concern is RWT'ing, and as I said. Rwti'ing is reportable. And why should RWT'ers affect you. If not that are affecting themselves because they are going to jail. All Rwt'ers do is buy massive amounts of money from credit cards to be banned from Runescape, so really what are you complaining about. Botters continue today even without the old wild, so why the hell are you bringing them up like they are new. Quote, " Botters will hang around trees so we can't train wc, around ores, so we can't mine to smith, around dragons so we can't get hides."
You idiot there are bots currently " taking your hides" and " stealing your trees" AS WE SPEAK. So honestly what the hell are you talking about. Jesus some of you guys on this game are so damn dumb, I'm sorry for saying that, but I'm just letting you know the truth. So freaking dumb and ignorant. Bringing up botting like it's such a major problem. Log in runescape right now idiot and go to green drags, you will find botters, so what would this update have anything to do with it, if there are already bots before the update even occured. Downy.
And secondly, you just proved to me that you didn't play in the old wild. The Grand Exchange was created if not, in October or Novemeber of 2007. WHEN THERE WAS STILL THE OLD WILD AND OLD TRADING. you specifically just said that, " old trading was removed and the GE was created." Like I said you are ignorant because the GE came out while old trading was still going on. You proved your unexperience on runescape
