If they log once every month or so they are not active players...I am speaking about the onces that log atleast once every 2 weeks...and about the "always" players...I think the amt that wants wild is overwhelming

I feel that in no way has Jagex been a failure. I have enjoyed this game even after the taking away of the wild and free trade. However, I feel that if I pay to play a game online and work hard to level and rank my character, that if I want to give a friend gold or weapons to help he or she; or if it is just letting someone borrow something, that free trade of my items/gold on my character should be my decision. I would just love to wake Christmas morning to find this update was up and running. I feel so strongly about the fact that free trade and pking would help the community so much and so quickly.

dont bail out yet, people will see the cheating already going on in the voting with so many spare accounts or false names or just signing in to vote without any p/w, and for it to be at 1.5 million votes already when u havent had that many separate accounts active on here daily just shows it all to be a farce.
Yes, people are talking about voting with their feet and leaving runescape. I do regret prepaying 105 days of membership 3 days ago or so. I too see this was already a done deal with the 'voting' just a feel good justification when its installed.
Now its time to wait and see if Jagex is gonna do a territorial pk area, move training and clue areas, handle the mass of complaints in a timely manner, allow ge to function with a working grand exchange that tracks trading and gives an average price on items and continues the present buy/sell sets with a greater price range of movement. TBH the present pricing system is not how economies work, u take raw materials and make something and sell it higher in the real world. Not kill yourself banking wise by buying higher and selling lower. So a GE correction was necessary.
It looks like it is going to be one big clan wars shaping up in wildy with lots of piling on and back to back to back attacks until u are dead if your lucky enough to win a few one on ones. Dungeoneering and Slayer skills will be the big winners here with tons of whining players saying how they got scammed or taken to wildy and killed. Mostly young or new folks granted but since we lost a lot merching and training workers who loved skilling on the 2007 change,and pk'ers who left 3 years ago arent getting phone calls to come back, we are talking about a vocal minority and many who dont understand what is happening or will happen.
I too love this game and have a ton of hours in it. Just hope this update doesnt sour too many people or worse turn it into a crime syndicate of terrorism lol.

Ok jagex so a few things. First off I know you wont do this and your just trolling the runescape community because you will have pending lawsuits put back on you for allowing real world trading again.
Second, your way of voting has so many faults. The count goes up if you vote multiple times, and you can vote with runescape names that dont exist. And I dont know or think that it keeps track of this.
Third, by making the morons of the game think that you are going to allow this practice to occur again, you are messing up the runescape economy. Since doing this, almost every valuable item has crashed exept for ones that would be used for the wildy.
If you went so far as to limit to only 4 worlds for party drops due to fears of real world trading, I shure as hell know that you wouldnt allow free trade and old wildy again.
So please stop this april fools joke in december, let the runescape community know that this was all but a ploy for laughs for your staff, and let everyone get back on with their lives.

i think it was wrong the way they treated the pkr's and the people who like to shre with others with the first update, every 1 calling them whiners and the old"its there game they can do what they want with it" and its wrong they way there treating every 1 that supported them after the update

heres my opinion i voted yes but for one thing free trade and let me tell you why...free trade is awsome if your far from the grand exchange and you happen upon another person you can trade whatever you want if they have something you need and without limits...i say only free trade should be reinstated because frankly i hated the old wild i hated it beyond all human understanding because jerks would try to pk you when your doing stuff..keep the pvp worlds leave the wild alone in all other worlds the revenants do their job well so theres no real reason to reinstate the old wild...and by well i mean revenants at least in f2p are more powerful then any other player in the entire universe and alawys will be but yea thats my reason...sadly in the end its your game its your decision i would just like free trade back without the old wild :*
