If the update went through that would eliminate the need for a GE and probably replace it with an AH (Auction House) So that way players can buy and sell ate their prices, not anyone else's. If the G.E were to stay it would have to be only in "Safe Worlds" As it would be totally useless after the update.
I mean they "Could" have a GE specifically for "Safe Worlds" But again, if there aren't any in other worlds what's to stop merchers from nerfing GE's for their benefit? You see where I'm gettin at?

agree, u cant have safe worlds, people will find a way to exploit it.
this is one or another, they havent and would never make safe worlds for ge etc... its just a waste of time thinking about and shud be in suggestions not in future updates

you speak the truth, which in everything you said makes sense and everybody in this game should take 5 minutes of their time to read what you said. and my ideas on how we can compromise with these issues.

yeah, things get out of control quick in these situations, ive been watching forums and mod posts for 2 days before i posted, and *ow i got my thought together i can realise whats going on...
alot of people seem to be going off topic though and alot of people are just spouting bull because they never even seen free trade or old wildy before and just want to join in :P
only problem we ever had in past was rwt and jagex say its fixable and can bring back the fun times :D
so whats the problem?! i dont know... :P lol

Jagex has been able to handle many huge updates on the game. To make 1 world or 2 that is called a safe "world" and there is a trade limit and safe wildy in only that 1 or 2 "safe worlds" I think thats doable.
it would atleast settle alooot of complaining about the wildy being dangerous and blah blah. Crap dude nobody hardly complained about the wildy before it was stolen from us /=

As I keep seeing characterizations of the people who are against this, I jus* have to keep anecdotally swatting them down. I am the dumbest manager of my RS money you are likely to meet. I have 120M sitting in a pile in my bank.
That is dumb.
I have pretty much everything I want at the moment, my bank spaces are full. I don't buy expensive cosmetic status symbols. I do own lots of different armor and weapons. If I can afford two of something I have them just for placeholders. I don't own a single Party hat, santa, cracker; nothing.
I have a high slayer level, so Dragon boots have interested me for a while. I considered their base price around 440K, but since it keeps wildly swinging up and down I finally took the plunge and bought 35 pairs at 560K figuring I'll just sell them when it spikes up towards 650K again.
I've just given you almost the entire extent of my merching experience.
In short, I have no vested interest in price changes as a result of the reversion to unlimited trade and old wildy.
So how many things have I been indirectly called now as my reason for not supporting reversion?
Too new to be entitled to an opinion, a botter, a price manipulating mercher, a scaredy cat, a crybaby, and even a spoilsport for not voting yes so that others can have the opportunity they so fervently desire to kill me! No doubt I'm forgetting some.
