Maybe some servers should have the old way back but not all. I refuse to PK. I don't like it. And if the GE goes away and I must trade with other players only, I will stop playing the game. I know others say this as an idle threat, but in my case it would be true. I have never said this in a comment before. I like the GE, if I want to trade with other players I have the option to do so. I am not savvy enough to trade well and will most likely get scammed alot and there goes my enjoyment of the game. And I really enjoy the game as it is.
I think those that want the old way back should have some servers assigned for that and not force everyone into it. You have PK only servers now so I'm sure it can be done separately. Well, I'm thinking you can anyway.
I didn't play the old RS way so I don't think I'm missing anything. But I hope your not going to force everyone to play the old way because I would really miss this game.

This is a great opportunity, and i guess many people will be voting 'yes' as will i. Runescape has not been the same since free trade and the wilderness has been taken out, so i strongly agree with this choice.

Stop complaining saying that your clicking the vote button expecting it to redirect to another page, it says *very* clearly 'VOTE YES' and nothing more. If you don't want to vote, don't press the button.

Aaronjan1, people talking about expecting it to redirect to another page were referring to the fact that the button, before they changed it, used to say "VOTE NOW", instead of "VOTE YES" like it is now. It was like that for an entire day and was only changed after 900k votes had been registered.

first of all why would you want to bring back fair trade there is no pro's to bring this back for your company players mayb you base but there r time when a gameing compnay has to take actions of there own choice and stick by them nomatter what the player say.
exsample.. i have played final fanatsy 11 online since its realse many many years ago they have made changes to that game that player can't stand beacuse of simple thing the player can nolonger cheat hack or buy gills (ff online currncy) fropm a 3rd party ELGAL web site selling a prooduted that lisen endured by the compnay namely square enix. same thing happen here every item every coin that is sold to player by these 3rd party site is 100% elegal and bring in unfair trade once again you are there for saying you now accpet that player can buy coin and item and as u well know humans will do it if they can and they will. you will see a 100% boom in coin buying item buying and a 100% boom in hacker returning to runescape.
the pro r 0 no pro to this atall its a stupid thing to be thinking and you as a compnay i would have thought you would have more brain than to even consider it. i know for a fact if you bring it back your going to loose player beacuse new player have return knowing they now dont have to spend 100k on a rune plate body as they were in the unfiar trade ear of rs.
this promte many cheater hacker and a increase of 100% bots more than u have in your game now and there r load rioght now your just to dumb to bring in a new way to stop the activatiuon of a boit its not hard every free to play game uses the one system and it work 99% flawlessly but for sum reason i see jagex the comapn really dont care about the game they make and just want money yes yes businees is money i know i got my own. but thats not the point money is not everything some time we need to make choice we dont like but oits for the good of the compnay in a hole weather the player or customer likes it.

Most likely if free trade comes back the same old real world trading will begin and yet again alot ppl will get their accounts stolen. I won't vote. IF they return back old wildy theres good chance i'll quit Runescape. We all know those who don't want old rs to return is majority of players.. jagex are greedy and they dont give a sht about our opinions.

There going to be massive riots and rwt will be reborn more and worse than before.. hell even i would trade gp for real money i stacked up since 2007. Now i don't say i certainly would but theres 50% chance. rwt will destroy rs it will become meaningles to play and i'll quit rs soon after. There are plenty of games and recent updates realy kept me interested.. but this is just sad.
