I saw a graph.
It wasn't good at all , not to mention that RuneScape is a slowly dying game.
Jagex has stated before that RuneScape would only be their focus until about 2014.. Well I have to tell you, that 2014 is not very far away. Its getting closer every day. Plus, not only that, but they are trying to get this publicity, right before releasing a new game.
I just saw a graph that shows how much Players go on RuneScape.
In the past 3 Years , there were 3.5million Uniques.
1.2 million Players quit that's now 2.3million Uniques?
Of course, it is slowly dieing, and is not very noticeable, while playing it, but if you look at the graphs, its a huge drop.
So what about Jagex's financial side.. The person in charge of marketing is pushing for the wild to come back, meaning that he knows it will help RuneScape will publicity.
People used to say "I play Runescape" "Oh sweet, lets play." Now if anyone mentions Runescape it's an instant accusation of nerdyness. Nobody wants to play it anymore

I do really want wilderness back.
But if Jagex don't act now.

But I hope Jagex does put Trade limit and Wilderness.
Spice up the game a bit.
Grand Exchange was 10x worse then RWT (Very few people did it back then) GE is pretty much like a legal way to scam people.

your exactly right
come on people do you not have a life that your so afraid to lose something, and not take a chance, pkers have a huge risk of losing things, as they will want the best to combat other players, this is just fun for everyone, and a way to pick up on some decent cash, plus a reason to lvl up again, besides, oh wow i got a skill cape, well ya so does 1000's of other people, now what do i do?
better yet, i got 50 mil what do i do with it beside take up bank space
or heres the best one, fight pvp and your enemy have 5 mil armor you kill them and all you get is 500k, now i dont know about you, but i feel better knowing that my gear/money went somewhere, besides banishing in thin air, because of the whole hot zone and risk system they have, the lower monetary value you have the less likely you are to claim something good, even if you are a good pker or have higher skills.

ya thats what i was referring to, just it jumps so fast at times.
I think very few people read now a days, because people ask the same questions, at least read from the page your on, or a few back, the same stupid questions, if you read the pkers posts you'd know, but they come on here and complain and try to force people not to vote besides giving a persuasive argument.

Pardon Mod Osborne,
as you have probably read from the previous posts, restarting the Old Wildy and Free Trade would undo your company's progress. News travels fast, and there are plenty of tradable, high-priced objects around RuneScape now. So RealWorldTrade-syndicates would be able to start up again.
Also, your voting system is horribly flawed. Only a "Yes" button and no need to require a name? Anyone could spam-click that button or create dozens of new accounts just to fill it with votes. It would be more logical to include a "no" button and require people to log in with accounts that have been active before the Wilderness/Trade change, or at least older than a week.

Firstly, this isn't a scam or anything to do with Guinness World Records.
Secondly, Phase 2 should begin soon and this will include a clear "No" option.

Okay, Here's what will happen if they go through with it
-x10 more players online every day, +millions more accounts created.
-More profit for JaGeX and their players getting Memberships
-Better runescape :D
Now, Here's what will happen if they just trolled all of runescape....
-Hundreds of thousands of players QUITTING.
-HUGE loss in money for the JaGeX company.
-Alot less Memberships being purchased.
-Thus causing Runescape to possibly be shut down due to
their inability to keep up with the costs.
They wont risk it.
Old Wild 2011.
Runescape will be reborn.
