I like the idea, but maybe have like 20 worlds that have this. It would give you a smaller population to watch and make sure no RWT was going on and you could have a warning when you log in that old wilderness is reinstated so watch out for scammers. You could call them the classic worlds or something of that order

For me, I am totally AGAINST bringing the wilderness and free trade back.
How many people got scammed when there is free trade ? True, the trade limit may have been irritating for a bit, but still it's a measure to prevent people from being scammed right ? So what's the point of bringing back something that is likely to make people fall prey to scammers again ?
As for the wilderness, for some it can be a place for earning money, or a place for training.(Greaters, hellhounds, just to name a few) Do we want to be disturbed by other players when we train and lose our items ?
For members, some resort to killing green dragons for hides/bones. If the old wilderness were to be brought back it wouldn't be the dragons killing players, this would also make collecting the hides/bones a troublesome task.
Furthermore, there is already a bounty and PvP world, a world whereby players who wish to fight others can go to. Since there is already such a thing in place, what's so bad about that ? It keeps players who doesn't wis* to fight others or those who doesn't want to be killed away and those who wants to fight can fight it out amongst themselves.
Thus, with the new trading system and the bounty & PvP worlds, I don't see any reason to bring back free trade and the old wilderness.
**If possible, I would like to suggest to Jagex, if possible, to make worlds with the old wilderness, I believe this would not only make those who want the old wilderness back satisfied, and those who carry out their activities in the wilderness can also continue with doing what they're doing. As for free trade, I really believe that it is unwise to bring them back, thanks :)

Jagex listen here also. From a long time player
To the pathetic newb* that are saying they can't do clue scrolls and that it's "impossible" and saying that free trade will get them scammed.

Dear people that are so worried about this coming back:
FIRST OF ALL: Why are you worried about doing clue scrolls and saying that you wont be able to do them anymore? If you have no knowledge of the past... Let me break it to you! MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAD DONE CLUE SCROLLS WITH THE OLD WILDERNESS! YES! How do you explain the 3rd age rewards and all the many items that came into runescape from the past before many people even knew what the grand exchange even was.
I remember doing my first clue scroll, it was exciting as a level 60 member, YES I had to go into the wilderness risk getting killed and losing my "ummm clue scroll and food" To get a potentially good reward. I got zammy platelegs from that it was a good day as I made over 1m :)

I love the old wilderness , why are people saying "wilderness should be in only some worlds" tell me why? why shouldn't it be in all worlds? I say BRING IT BACK TO WHAT IT WAS! If you don't like it, there's like 1,000's of scaled km (miles) to walk around in. JUST DONT GO IN OR DONT RISK UR RARES (IF U HAVE ANY)
I loved the old wilderness because it was exciting! there was action! I thought the game was great not like other games where I can buy a safety charm for a few dollars and be saved. The wilderness was what made rs what it was, and so did free trade. It was freedom! Scamming will always happen people were getting scammed all the time with junk and scam clan chats.

BRING BACK FREE TRADE AND FREE WILDERNESS!

Real world trade was the issue that lead to the removal of free trade, not scamming so get over yourselves. If you are so impatient that you do not release that your trade was modified and didn't catch that someone had scammed you because you didn't look at the second screen, or the red bars that say "trade modified," is truly your own problem. Maybe if you people payed more attention to detail and slowed down you wouldn't get scammed...
That being said I strongly hope that the WILDERNESS AND FREE TRADE ARE BROUGHT BACK. 1.3m+ votes after only 36ish hours? What do you all think the numbers are going to be on the 14th of January?
This is actually my second post to stupid people trying to argue how "bad" this would be my first post is on page 202 if you want to read it.
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALLOWING US TO VOTE JAGEX!

To :D efeatman2
there are enough monsters to train on quit your complaining, you probably never played when there was free trade and wildy.
I trained to level 115 with old wildy, and earned 100s of millions on the way. You are WRONG.

I don't really see how doing free trade on some worlds and not others will work. I suppose people worried about getting scammed could avoid the free trade worlds, but I tend to agree with the supporters that scam avoidance just needs to be learned the hard way. Same with getting lured to the wildy. Or learning not to tell your friend your pass*word (what on earth does that word need to be bleeped for?). It's called grow up. But all the negative effects of removing trade limits will happen if even one world removes them. Botters just hop to that world to trade their ill gotten gains.
Having old wildy on some worlds also seems dumb. People who don't care to get murdered won't go on those worlds. So you're left with the status quo: People who want to risk getting killed will go to those worlds. Just like PVP worlds now. If what you mean by "old wildy" is you get all the loser's stuff, that's a different discussion, but there's no need to make all world's wildys PVP again to implement that change. Still seems to me people who want to revert to the old wildy are just looking for easier kills of players who aren't good at PKing.
