if there will be free trade can the GE stay?
i think it can, just make it so that players can put in items without price limit, and then change the GE a little more so that you can see ± 100 diff rent D scimitars or a different item with different prices

The GE was brought out before free trade and wilderness were removed, so I'm sure it's safe to say that they will remain, whatever the outcome.
I'm curious though, what this Phase 2 is that I've been hearing about from Mod Mark H. And just when "soon" is.

Jagex I do not know what you are thinking with how you set up the vote. That is my biggest problem with even discussing this idea. It's almost rigged in a way and holds no REAL STATISTICAL meaning without a proper UNBIASED means of communicating the options. PLEASE please please reconsider another vote with better options and use of a user login.
I would have to reconsider my membership in January if this vote goes through. Mostly because of the unfairness of the means in which Jagex brought about the decision and asked for opinions. If it was shown that the vote was actually fair (which it does not seem to be) I would stick around because it would be majority decision.
But honestly how does going backwards from all the updates you have done make any business sense. I always thought that Jagex was looking out for what was best for the community and I do not honestly see how this update will be good. They might get more clients back but you might also lose a lot of longstanding players. There have to be better options out there.
Jagex give a better options. You cannot fix the botting problem, so why exacerbate it. This option would only make free world trading more alluring and undermine all the work you have done. If this is a publicity stunt, you did well, however you have also made it hard to take you seriously.

Dear people that are so worried about this coming back:
FIRST OF ALL: Why are you worried about doing clue scrolls and saying that you wont be able to do them anymore? If you have no knowledge of the past... Let me break it to you! MILLIONS OF PEOPLE HAD DONE CLUE SCROLLS WITH THE OLD WILDERNESS! YES! How do you explain the 3rd age rewards and all the many items that came into runescape from the past before many people even knew what the grand exchange even was.
I remember doing my first clue scroll, it was exciting as a level 60 member, YES I had to go into the wilderness risk getting killed and losing my "ummm clue scroll and food" To get a potentially good reward. I got zammy platelegs from that it was a good day as I made over 1m

I love the old wilderness , why are people saying "wilderness should be in only some worlds" tell me why? why shouldn't it be in all worlds? I say BRING IT BACK TO WHAT IT WAS! If you don't like it, there's like 1,000's of scaled km (miles) to walk around in. JUST DONT GO IN OR DONT RISK UR RARES (IF U HAVE ANY)
I loved the old wilderness because it was exciting! there was action! I thought the game was great not like other games where I can buy a safety charm for a few dollars and be saved. The wilderness was what made rs what it was, and so did free trade. It was freedom! Scamming will always happen people were getting scammed all the time with junk and scam clan chats.

i hope that it comes back. i got scammed back then and ive been trying to make cash. but i couldnt. my friends said if they could give me cash they would. well over 1m people voted yes ** its coming back for sure

i dont like it, why? because bots arent here atm, scammers arent here atm.
and if you say they are, then you werent around back then, atleast not as long as i have, trust me, ive seen rs from the start of classic, so no use lying to me.

anyway heres my reasons: because bots will be back in the THOUSANDS, and real world trading will be, and scammers.

SCAMMERS: although im smart enough to not get scammed, some people arent, like younger people. we cant be discriminative against them either for not being smart enough, we cant all be heroes.
REAL WORLD TRADING: although this doesnt bother me that much, if some1 wants to waste their real life cash good for them, BUT however having people go from skint broke to mega rich in an instant is unfair on the others who are playing legitimatly. LIES/HOW/IM FULL OF IT? well the new rich noobs go and mass buy all the latest gear and items to boost skills, mass flowing the prices of items that others would be trying to buy/sell for profit and gain items from their own legitimatly earned cash. dont think that acually would effect? then your a fool, ever heard of merch clans and how they do exactly what i just said by banding together? yeah, that explaination not so dumb now.

BOTS: this effects the previous reason aswell. bots spam many locations to fast and rapid chop wood, ores, fish, pick flax, theive, agility, and more. robbing other players of valuable time that it takes them to lvl skills that would usually take them alot less time without these bots. ontop of that, the cash is sold in large amounts, ruining the prices of items, with the cash going straight towards being sold for real world cash.
now, if you tell me im lying, then your ignorant and just dont like change. now you could say I dont like change? well i dealt with losing the wildy and free trade for the strong points it acually had, you havnt. it was lost for a reason**** is gonna have major issues if it comes back, and quit
