hello jagex,
i bttf,having been playing this game since 2005, i came in at its prime, and for years i have watched you destroy this game, but right now, i cant help but tell you how much I LOVE YOU FOR THIS, i simply must tell you that i am just giddy with excitment, you lost me a long time ago but return old runescape and bring it back to its former glory, and i can say you have me back completely, i will quit world of warraft that day and return to runescape within the hour! THANK YOU PLEASE DO

I think that trade limits could be done away with and still have the grand exchange and suggested prices remaining. That would allow for street trading and also it gives players an idea of what they should pay for items without restricting the price they are willing to pay. Also with the wilderness why not take out the pvp and bounty world and just make those worlds like the old wildy where players can actually claim the the items of those they defeat in battle. That leaves some worlds still open for minigames, boss fights, and skilling locations found in the wilderness. Either way I will remain a fan of runescape. I say bring back old wild in a few worlds and just up trade limits, by double or more, that way you can still have pk where you get the items of the other player and not just random junk with no value (and in old wild worlds no revs would be great). also have some worlds you can still have all your wilderness activities, such as penguin hunts, clue scrolls, pyres etc. without the risk of some random person killing you in the process.
but alas i didn't read the vote page properly and just voted for it, i would like to retract that vote (if possible)
anyway thats just my opinion and possibly the opinion of countless others.
Have a good day and don't do something so incredibly stupid that you will end up loosing even more players.
P.S. for all those who think that all the NO voters are either bots or skillers, your incredibly mistaken, i for 1 used to be big on PVP when i was a pure, but now i mainly just come on to talk to friends and train a little, i still love going to pvp worlds now and then but the drops are ridiculous, i hate killing som1 with say drag gear and getting an anti poison and an emerald ring in return, its 1 of the many things i hate with the new system, but as a said this is just my opinion and possibly the opinion of many others.

I can live with these changes if Jagex is wise about it, but I'm more afraid of how players will take advantage of the changes for selfish benefits.
Those that think that saying no to this is wrong need to be more mature and respect others' opinions.

I really don't agree with this at all. I played back in 05 when the old wilderness was around and yes I pked. Yes it was fun. However, the huge leap jagex took to remove that along with the free trade was a jump for the better. Everyone got over it and is doing fine. If the old wild and free trade does come back... There will be more bots, more RWT, scamming, luring and much much more. It will also rid the use of the grand exchange. I know alot of people find the grand exchange very useful. I just think this is a bad idea.
Also, those people who are flaming people for thinking its not a good idea. Get a life mate, because everyone has their own opinions and its not your right to judge. Half of you people voting yes probably didn't even pk back then you just want an excuse to feel cool.
Short of it, bad idea. My thoughts.

there's quite a few problems i foresee in all of this the first being upon returning the wildy there's going to be conflicts with mini games, clue locations, the abyss, agility course, and beacons. because of these your still going to need to make them on separate worlds. the other thing is if you wanted it back any way why not just update it instead of making the voting system biased towards yes. sure people who vote no can just ignore it all but the imbalance comes when people can vote multiple times. and lastly if you had a problem with it before how is there NOT going to be a problem with it this time? and i mean this in no way to be offensive to you but just walk into dung on one of the worlds for it and i guarantee you you'll see at least 10 auto typers. if your system can't even catch that i'm sorry but how are you going to catch the thousands of bots?

you guys should deffinatly bring um both back i remeber doing pking at the blk nights castle in lvl 14 wildy was the funnest ish ever also u should bring back the ladder to the mage bank my friend pked a red hat there when the kid went down the ladder, great times.

An free trade would be good to help out ur friends who are just getting started i remeber when i started my friend gave me a mil and i loved every minute of it.

an ino the problem with botters will occur but you guys dont do anything about that now ino how u could ban like 4000 botters a day go to any world varrock essence mine and watch how many kids stop on the same tile when they go to bank its like 30 kids on each world. 30kidsx150worlds=4500botters so bring um both back.
