Jagex, the vote is flawed.
Anyone can enter anyones name without comfirmation that they are actually that person, and there is no no vote. Also if you are setting the vote up to see if there is overwhelming disagreement on forums, only people against it will use the forums to rant(people rant against stuff more than they say to support it).
I know you cant restart the voting process(because people would get angry about voting again), but there is a way to fix it from this point(even at over 1 million people).
How to fix the poll:
Require the word that passes for conformation
Add a no button, or add the options bring wild back/dont bring back/bring free trade back/don't bring free trade back/bring both back/leave as is or modify wild(safe spots or old wild worlds/areas)/modify free trade(raise trade limit, or after you play a certain time, or you have to be member, or free trade with people you've been friends with for {insert time here}
Since many people accidentally clicked yes or are having second thoughts, have a way to change your vote(you could revote a certain # of times, like 2)
People who clicked yes already would say yes to both, but could revote if needed.
This way you could see a clear majority
Also add a link to vote somewhere more noticable on front page and at site where you vote have a comparison of old stuff to new stuff
Might try to get job at Jagex in a few years

Jagex, please don't listen to the people who want to vote no. If you think about it they're voting for TINY reasons which is actually really selfish. For example they insult you by saying you'd totally forget about clan wars and the corperal beast when i'm sure you'll come up with easy solutions by either moving them or just making a teleport to inside the corperal lair.
Please don't listen to the selfish minority, they are either full time skillers (who miss out on the best part of the game), botters or people in merch clans. Thanks.

P.S to any idiots thinking prices will go up, iteams stay in the game when you kill someone instead of leaving the game. Therefore the prices will go down.
Summary to the people who cbf reading the thread: The only people who want to vote no are botters or merchers. Obviously all pkers are in favour of this update and it doesn't effect PvM'ers or skillers. So only botters / merch clans want to vote no.
Also it's been confirmed that all non PvP activities will be taken out of the wildy so don't try that pathetic reason.

Why do people prefer the "Free Trade" over "Old Wilderness". The Wildy was a major characteristic of Runescape, many people solely played the game due to it. RWT or not the wildy was a part of the game a part used by hundreds if not numbers near the thousands a day. It made the game interesting and gave some risk, but at the same time was ALWAYS fun. I dont see whats so special about free trade, honestly JaGeX done a good job with that. Im all against RWT, but I am for preserving the game and what it was intended for. Free Trade never was or is a priority but the Wildy made this game to some respect to what it is today.
Now if this "vote" that is now in the millions is disregarded by JaGeX, they should expect MASS QUITTING, on the day they reveal the results. Being completely honest, I think this is mainly a stunt done to see how many times the page is viewed, refreshed etc. Lets remember there's an ad on there. And just like Youtube Partners get money for views on videos with ads JaGeX most definitely does to. With over ONE million views, depending on the rate of money from ads JaGeX is making good money.
Ultimately I believe JaGeX will go through with this because if they dont, they basically created a suicide for Runescape. I am all for this happening, though with my doubts and opinions, look forward to seeing how this goes.
P.S.- I heard that the target goal for this "vote" is 4 million votes, Its been about a day since this was released and there is still 23 days left and in just a day there is 1 mil votes 1/4 of the "target". Honestly there will be beyond 4 mil votes in my opinion and the funny thing is there will be more votes then registered users.
