Writing a little off topic here, but I'm excited about the change. WARNING: LONG BORING ANALOGY!!
Near my work there's a public parking with 4hr time limit. The parking meter guy knows I park there in the morning for 4hours exactly and then move to a no-limit spot after lunch that's a lot farther to walk. He and I have absolutely joked about it. "One of these days" he says, he's gonna catch me over the limit again. Ya well probably, and I'll have another $10 ticket to deal with. And he will ENJOY writing it!
Death by pk was never an absolute. It was a possibility that made the game realistic. There are safe areas, but also advantages to straying outside of them. People have gotten used to being safe from getting caught in the wildy by pkers. I got used to it but forever missed the excitement of pkers. It's great to petition them to come back in exchange for Jagex bringing back what was crushed by segregation. Like removal was a must before, the return is now also a must.

By the way I vote no and i played in 2007 and i got a chicken suit to prove it. why can't we have it seperate yes to free trade no to wildy, people like games that are hard but they don't like games that are annoyingly hard because u die all the time in the wildy if u want to get something done. Trust me on Blacks Ops i get mad when i keep on getting spon-killed

I am totally in favor of bringing back the original Wilderness AND Free Trade. For all of you who don't agree with returning free trade, hear me out.
We have all been scammed before, yes? Of course we have.
However, we as players NEED to learn from our mistakes! In the real world, people are scammed all the time. It is our job to recognize our faults, and to act accordingly by not repeating them!
Furthermore, with the bright flashing red exclamation points, in addition to the not one, but TWO trading review screens, it is impossible for CAUTIOUS player to be scammed!
Admit it guys and gals, you were scammed because you didn't take the time to READ your screens. You were so excited about receiving your first "Rune" scimitar that you immediately clicked 'Accept' without a glance. (I know I did.)

When you rode your first bike without training wheels, did you fall? Most of us would say we did. We would also say that, without a doubt, we were overwhelmed with joy when we pedaled down that pavement for the first time, flawlessly. Now imagine if those training wheels were NEVER removed. Would you ever learn to ride that *ike by yourself?
You would be so content with those training wheels that even the thought of taking them off would seem stupid. I mean, you're so used it now, why make a change?
EVERYONE has forgotten the FREEDOM that RuneScape's trading system once had. Do you recall when Trade Limits first came out? There was an outrage! Riots were held in Varrock Square! Over time though, we all got accustomed to the limits, forgetting what we once held dear. Would this be the first time? Of course not.
Recall when the RuneScape Font was changed. How about the God Sword animations? The menu tabs? You may believe that these updates were simply 'minor', but a minor update here and there, and RuneScape could be a totally different game. DO your own due diligence...stop depending on the 'STATE' to protect you.

Only having a yes vote does not seem right when you can vote more than once. This does not give you the true results on what players really want. This is very unfare. To get the true results there needs to be ONE VOTE PER ACCOUNT THAT WE HAVE THE CHOICE OF YES OR NO. The way this poll turns out means nothing at this point. It is the way you are getting your results....

If old wild comes back, where will be the clan wars,fog, other minigames? You will be killed before you can rearch corp,kbd. You won't able to do clues like now,pkers everywhere,you can't play the beacons,and wild agility training will be a nightmare.
So i'll ask: Why do we need the old wild back??
/And yes,the voting is one-sided and unfair,if somebody who wants old wild back,he will use his or her friend's name,members in his or her cc,and even players who walked next to him or her./

mod mark .... you are confusing a vote with a petition .... a vote would be a proposition eliciting yes/no/don't know answers .... what you have here is a petition .... a proposition eliciting a list of names in favour of it
so .... it is not a genuine choice
it will not therefore be a genuine reflection of your players' opinions ... only a reflection of the agreement of some of them
it has everything to do with "seeing who wants it" and nothing to do with seeing "who doesn't"
if you want to play the pedant .... get your facts straight ... perhaps you could spend your christmas book token on "Voting: for dummies"
