I see your point but in games their will always be an elite class with a lot of money and maxed stats. Basically it's some of these people who manipulate the GE to make more money. Also the elite are the only ones who can sell the items at there street value at release because us who only have about 30m - 100m don't have 60m in junk our money consist of out Armour and supply's mostly. My point is it would be easier for people to get the most out of items with high street value with free trade, and not just the people with hundreds of mill in junk.

We all can tell that this is an attempt to correct the mistakes of the past decade in preparation for the next. As someone who has been on RS almost as long as it's been around, I feel I need to explain a few things before I cast my vote. My brothers introduced me to Runescape in the Summer of 2002; the first MMO I had ever seen. I chose my look, my username, and the profession I wanted to pursue; fishing. I continued to play until the Winter, and after obtaining a then free Santa hat, I quit playing until the beta test. After that I casual dropped by, but I never continuously played until the spring of 2006. Things were getting more complex, and I was enjoying it even more. I was not a PKer, never enjoyed it. I remember the day the wilderness was removed, I was...unemotional; it didn't effect me. Then the trade laws; being someone who had lost 2 Santa hats to hackers, I was a wee bit happy. With the new trade laws in effect, and the Grand Exchange, I was making a healthy profit as a fisherman. Now we are here deciding whether or not to restore the Wilderness and remove the Trade Laws. It is with great motivation, and my love of this this game that I cast my vote...
YES, RESTORE THE WILDERNESS AND REMOVE THE TRADE LAWS

It may seem strange that I would vote for something that would be detrimental to me, but Runescape is about more than that. We play MMO's to escape our daily confines, it seems foolish to impose such limits in our haven. I want the Wilderness restored and the Trade Laws removed, because it adds more to Runescape; it makes the game better. We're not hear to learn lessons in Socialist Economics, we are here to have fun! Heavy restrictions and removing something many players held dear is not the best course of action. Jagex, you, just like your players must take the good with the bad. If a good game means hackers and gold farmers, then I suppose we'll have to deal. That being said, I ask you, Please remove the Trade Laws, and Restore the Wilderness

Oh it seems the votes are somewhat limited. As i vote for all my accounts i see that none of the votes show up on recent votes anymore. Maybe something to do with them limiting votes to an extent to the persons IP i suppose?

Yeah, i'd have to vote yes free trade. Not really going to give an opinion on the wilderness thing though.
I mean the trade limit is not just annoying, but it is really a huge inconvinience to players in Runescape. I myself have been playing for quite a few years now, and the trade limit is indeed a good initiative to combat hacking, the stealing of items and all the sort. However, the trade limit still causes a somewhat unnecessary inconvenience to players. For example, those who need help, monetary or otherwise. 10,000 or 20,000 gp is not a lot. So basically, please get rid of the trade limit. It just provides an inconvenience, a good initiative, but still. I think more players prefer the free trade system. But that's just my opinion. Thanks for listening, Jagex.
Note: Chrono**iiii is my brother, and please excuse the similar I.P.s

i vote in favor of bringing back the old wildy and trade. so many of my old time friends quit just because of the reason. and it was an original part of runescape history and i think it should always be apart of it. yes i like that it stops cheating but ive, on several occasions, wanted to help a friend or someone but i cant because of that reason. and the old wild is way more fun than any of the new things jagex has come out with. thats just my opinion. im a 6 year player, and this is what i think.

No i don't think of it as a joke more of an announcement and a way to make money from the spam of votes and also the world record on top of that. And why would they lie about something for the 10th anniversary of the game?

Yes for the free trade and no for wilderness. I feel like the grand exchange has changed runescape dramatically for the worse.I am not the only one who feels this way and I can provide this site which points out why the grand exchange ruined it for us.
http://gameolosophy.***/games/online/runescape/grand-exchange-ruins-runescape/
The grand exchange has made life too easy for players in runescape regarding quest items and such. It has also resulted in price inflation of items. The general idea of buying/selling items in the grand exchange is either sell it for the cheapest price available to be able to get the item faster whereas people who want to make money sell their items for the most highest price acceptable causing the price of the respective item to drop or go up to unimaginable heights. I can provide an example with the zamorak bow ever since the grand exchange was added.

I also think this voting poll should be made more public because I myself had no idea about this before being informed by a friend.
The GE brought down Runescape's economy and people now go to the Grand Exchange to help them with their quests instead of getting the item's the proper way.
Forgive me if I am wrong and correct me anywhere but this is my opinion ,
