I accidentely send the messege too early. But about the safety... Even my dad thinks the game was way more fun back then becaus of the risks of scamming etc. He got scammed a lot of times but thats the soul of the game as it was... Further about the complaining that GE would crash... Why? I didn't even got one answer from a economics. Even the real world economics isn't crashing and I could sell my guitar for a couple of cents(well thats shocking I know)and the economics still would be normal. I think people are against it because of lazyness and the ease that the GE has to offer, but again who said something about the GE disapearing?
About bots, aye thats a problem. But it always will be. Thats just the way it is when u rely on Java Script. But Jagex stated that they found a good way to ban out those macroiers but it will always happen, even with RWT. It still going on right now. I dont know how, and I think even the mods at Jagex dont even now exactly but its still going on. But thats the dicision of the player right? To put real money for pixles. And why wouldn't you? You also put real time into virtual time. And then again, Jagex will always fight that system. And maybe they will find better ways then banning wildy and free item trades... But thats their duty to complete.
I think with the vote Jagex wants to point out that they want to help us to get back our beloved old way of playing. Maybe it took a bit too long but thats alright cause Jagex can make a change and it will be a good change. As they stated out already 2011 will be the best year of RuneScape till then...

Hello Jagex,
First I wish to thank you to consider this, However personally I am not a supporter of this at all. It is true that the old Wildernis has its perks and downsides. So does free trade.
Personally I wish to support free trade as much as possible, However it is required to prevent scams so in my opinion it should be limited to the amount of money any player could lose without anything they "Really" feel(For example, Around my level 1m is good. However for someone that just started out 10k is more than enough)
I was never a huge PK fan so don't expect me in wanting the Wildernis back, However I am a fan of a more free-like pvp worlds(With additional lose marges if you die, So in average people will lose more so it will be a decent money drain).
Still, I like the initiative however I would have loved an option to vote "no". Even though I love the idea of free trade, It isn't worth the trade-off.

This update will be GREAT. However i dont like the sound of maybe summoning being removed, and extremes+ovl? and chaotics maybe limited , just bring 100% loots and free trade and old wildy, with some tweaks but modernised gear and graphics.

Free trade could go a long way to put an end to merch clans controlling the economy if we lose our dependence on the GE and start trading with each other instead, setting our own prices and offers.
Then with PK as it is, we have 76k tricks which is a nothing more than huge GP falling from the sky on these people.
Maybe both systems are broken, but which of the two would you prefer?
Free trade and Wilderness PKing at least gives the game more interest and challenge. Maybe it won't be all about who bought what skillcapes anymore. Less focus on 99s and more focus on gameplay has to be a good thing.
Tbh, I'd much rather bargain with a woodcutter than put in an order on the GE.
And with Wildy back, think how much your potions and food will be in demand. Skilling makes a comeback.

Wildy is supposed to be dangerous place to go, if you want a peaceful place, I suggest you to go chaos tunnel or lumbridge is the peaces* place in runescape.
Secondly, people are not blind. They can double check first before they click the final button to aceept the trade.

Personally I don't mind doing non pking things with pkers around. Many activities existed in the wildrness when Pkers did.
There was Chaos Elemental, Treasure trails, Rogue thieving at one stage the only way to get a decent supply of lockpicks, agility training it usto be the best course in the game, Mage arena to get god spells, the good old KBD which you need to go through the wilderness to get to, the abyss & so on.
Pkers won't stop us from completing quests & other activities much more then revs do. Sure they might sit there waiting in used areas but we can always world hop or defend yourself the same as you would do with a rev.

Alright, i voted yes(even though i started playing after it was taken away :) ) but i have some problems:
*the petition site is jacked up as previously said in this thread.
*i would like to keep the current wildy
*i would like to keep the GE
*could you make new "old wildy" worlds?(yes you can you're jagex, you can do what ever you want to this game)
*the GE prices should be part of the free trade but there should be no max limit, like there is now (5k-10k)
*make more player/jmods to help enforce rules
*get a better botter elimination program plz????
all i'm asking is to make the game more player friendly for the average player like me :(
