The first thing those J Mods should do when they get to work tomorrow is FIX THAT DAMN VOTE! They should change it so you can vote weather you want none, one, or both options (options being wildy and free trade). If they dont do that they should at least add a no option to the vote.
So my opinion on these things is as follows:
On free trade: If they reintroduce free trade again, what will happen to the G.E? Free trade will also reintroduce the real world traders *hat left Runescape in '07. Although, free trade would be good because you would be able to give gifts to your friends again :)
On Old Wildy: If they reintroduce the Old Wildy in all worlds, that'll just wreck such things as clues, the Beacon activity and walking to many thing in the Wildy such as Stealing Creation, Corp beast, green dragons and the short cut to Bork.
Final vote:
Free trading:Maybe. If they do it, they should make it so that the G.E doesn't become "out dated", and also so that you have the G.E price on the trade screen (btw, dont say "zomg no0b, dnt dis on the free trade cos u got scammed", because fyi, i was smart and never got scammed ;) )
Old Wildy: NO! It will ruin too many good things. But, if worse comes to worse, it should only be in a few select worlds and only some of the wilderness

Either way, we know jagex is going to go ahead with this even if they dont get a majority vote. If they go back on it, a large amount of people will quit because Jagex just got peoples hopes up.
So, we can only hope that Jagex IS smart enough to leave Runescape as it is and not change it because that may just be the final nail in this coffin :|

rwt's never left runescape, they just do it nowadays in the form of street value, ie desperate rs player pays, random real life loser 500$. Real life loser trades desperate rs player a blue p hat for trade price.

In reality, a small percentage of people moaned when it was removed in the first place. It was just loudly and constant. And *THEY* wouldn't accept it. Possibly including those telling people now not to moan, lol? All polls indicate PvP is a small portion of the player base.
I love the Jagex communication on this issues. Nice way to post this just as the day ended.

It be better if Jagex were to make a mandatory poll that states who likes to pk, and who ever say does like pking , there vote should count on this and not the people who dont care about pk cause they dont like it, that will ruin our votes for the people that want this to happpen.

BRING IT BACK ( IL BUY A 3 year runescape membership in advance if you guys were to make this happen lol) jk about that but yea ill keep on playing Honestly. there will be more motivation on pking . who wants to wait for e.p to go up dude blow that man really f****** blow that. wait hours for e.p to go up cmon bull ok bulll bulll bulll , hey u know wat ill wait for is wildy to come back.

ok so lets say jagex took somthing away from skillers just out of the blue.
i.e. you can only train 1 99 at once? you can only catch 100 fish a day? you could only sell 5% of the items you earn? yeah itd be stupid and unfair. welcome to the view of all the real pkers.

I have never really go into pking that is true, but this is a massive game decision with game wide consequences. It is not as simple as 'Do you want to PK properly again?'. I would love to have the old style of runescape back, it was awesome back in the day at the start of RS2. But in light of things that have happened since it is not worth going back.
Yes it is not the same as before, but I don't think it is worth going back to all the problems we had just so you can gain what the other person lost, as opposed to the BH system which seems to work ok.
