ok if wildy went back to the way it was quests in the wild would be MUCH more difficult because you have to avoid all the lvl 138 who go around in groups and kill anyone they come across
the beacon network would have the same problem
and all minigames
and clue scrolls
and penguin hide and seek
the poll is open to scammers cause they setup a program to type in a name then just refresh and type in the same name with a one letter difference and as soon as they find valid account thats one person who voted even though they didn't want to
i set up a program to goo through the highscores and just make a list of everyone that had a highscore in attack
i have found 782,541 of the 2,000,000 and recorded their names using a simple program in the last 46 hours a spammer could do the exact same in reverse with the poll
my suggestions
1)a few worlds have old wildy and majority still the same
as for the free trade i would say loosen the restrections some
if there HAD to be free trade atleast give the GE value balencer like there is at the bottom already so we know if were being scamed

The thing that upsets me the most is that a great bunch of players who want the wilderness back automatically think the rest does too.
I've personally played since 2004. I went through the removal of traditional PK'ing and free trade. Like the vast majority of players, I was annoyed. But looking back, it turned out to be a lot worse than it is now.
Do the people shouting "Vote yes now OMG" actually think about the impact this will have on the game? Bringing the old wilderness back is (in my opinion) not too bad of an idea, but the results will be crazy. Items like dragon bones will rocket in price, wilderness quests would be very hard to complete . . . .
If you return free trade, the Grand Exchange will become deserted. You would have to spam "Buying" messages for hours to get items you need for a treasure trail, going through trade after trade until you find a decent offer. Scamming will return, Real World Trading would be simpler than ever, and this will encourage botters even more to try and earn real-life cash in virtual trades.
To all the yes voters: Think before you vote. Don't be impulsive. What was better before isn't necessarily better now.
P.S.: The voting system is completely bias. There is no option to vote against the proposed idea, one can use other players' names, and one name can vote multiple times. Also, the way the page looks now, having the 'Vote Now!' button automatically vote for Yes, that is false advertisement and is punishable by law, even if it is only for a game. Money is involved.

It's good to see rs is thinking of us good old faithful members, who've stuck it out through and through, giving your loyal members what they want.. :)
the only people complaining about this change is the newbies, and they probs dont even have a clue about the way rs used to be.. they think its the end of their rs life, but trust me its only the start!
people complaining about how green drags etc is going to be ruined and clue scrolls etc in wildi.. thats pathetic cus we managed before? :) get over it

Pappa Paroni, I post in this thread because bringing back free trade will ruin the game. Sure it will be great except for the fact that bots will flood the game again which will end up making Jagex remove it again because of banks threatening to block credit card charges to them once again (read up on that please if you are not sure what I'm talking about here). I have nothing against the old wilderness if you would read my posts.
I am simply curious why people such as yourself think that it would positively impact the game when it will be largely the same as pvp worlds. All with the exception of enabling the harassment of normal players. Can you please provide an explanation?

Chances that a JMod is reading this is low. As is the chance that (if this vote is being taken seriously) these updates will not come to pass.
I just have to express my outrage at JAGEX. Whether you are taking this seriously and this is the most corrupt voting system ever, or this a joke and everyone has been played with. I am actually hoping for the latter because if it isnt - shame on you JAGEX. For creating such an abomination of a voting system.
If you didnt want to create a vote - at least call it a petitition. If you wanted to create a petition, at least make it a respectable one free of corruption.

Half the ppl whining werent even on when this stuff existed and cant comprhend that these things existed before wildy was nerfed.
Trade limits on the other hand have always hurted those who hate quest and simply skilled or pked.

first off, if you are going to run a legit and fair voting system how about giving yay's and nay's a say as well as making all the players log in to vote so **body can walk up with joe bloe's name and vote then walk in under joe blows name and vote again.
then maybe instead of having all the worlds like this, why not just keep the wildy to the pvp worlds ..... its the same anyway?
and with the free trade, isnt that just going to encourage hackers again? i lost like 14 mil and was only free to play then, i have a lot more to lose now, how am i going to be guaranteed that nobody will hack in and sell all my stuff on me like they did before? it would really suck to be someone who had spent years gathing their wealth to have someone steal it and sell it off to their own account for as little as possible...
a lot more thought needs to be implemented in this i think, i am pretty sure all those that want these two features back are those that dont like to work hard for the stuff they have anyway
please let me know asap either way though, i may need to find a new game to get addicted to :)

My concern thoughts of returning, what people are referring to as, the 'old wildy'.
The wildy is dangerous already, being there are the revenants. And other characters with a very high level and are challenging as it is. And bringing back something that will only let mean hearted players who only want and try to lure an unexpecting new player, or someone who doesn't know the ugly intention of those who bring someone into the wildy, (and that could be anyone, whether they know how to fight or especially those who don't, like myself) not knowing what's going to happen. Is downright horrible. Does NOT make a good game play. Or a good idea. It does Not make it .. fun .. anymore.
For instance, some people are very verbally stupid enough to start a mean horrible fight. 'Inside' the game. While playing 'inside' the game of Runescape. Just to make someone re-act. THAT IS NOT A GOOD GAME play. THAT IS ONLY GOING TO BRING OUT HATE AND MESSED UP ANGER INSIDE OF SOMEONE. Honestly, for some reason, that doesn't really sound like something Jagex accepts. Especially when you have mods. You have a code that will NOT allow bad languge.
I don't know how else to explain it.
Especially when some people are not able to know how to fight. THAT IS NOT A FAIR GAME. People who only want to find ways to take advantage. So wrong.
People only want to kill people for money and very expensive items. That is not right. That does not make a game fun.
WHY NOT KEEP IT THE WAY IT IS? That way there is no sadness and an overwhelming anger that will cause a person to go out and do something bad. IN REAL LIFE.
Not a good idea.
Keeping it the way it is, where you have worlds for both types of people. Worlds of anger and deciet, and worlds where you can enjoy every single skill and quest that is offered.
Why have all those quests? Aren't they there to let a player enjoy the skill and learn knowledge of it and the fun of those quests.
