Agent B MiB,
In the law running companies, the crafters lost money big time.
But in air running and nat running, crafters could actually make money in the early days, and later on they would break even on natcrafting (just giving away the double nats they make).
For hiring air runners, depending on a crafter's rc level and current prices of airs and ess, it could make money, lose money, or break even.
So except for hiring law runners (which I never thought was such a great idea, despite it's great popularity), hiring runners did not require a player to be rich, and it was not "buying" exp.

As for "buying exp," those who have some pre-conceived notion that it's somehow wrong or cheating to pay for materials or services to get faster exp are just limiting themselves.
There is nothing wrong with paying for materials or services to gain faster exp. Period.
Agent B MiB, you earlier argued that Jagex intentionally put more mining exp than smithing exp in a metal bar because Jagex wanted miners to help smithers.
But for that to work, smithers would have to buy ores from miners, thus "buying exp." Oh no! That's wrong!
Wrong.
Buying materials to gain exp was originally intended by Jagex to be a part of the game.
If you don't like that, you're free to not do it yourself, and shut yourself off from capabilities that are built into the very fabric of Runescape.
But please, stop the preaching about how others should do it the way you think they should, and if they don't they're bad, wrong, etc.
You do it your way, others will do it their way. As long as it's not against the rules and the people involved are all happy with the results, there is nothing wrong with it.

A Runescape player has been telling me resonable questions. I am not sure myself. He said to me, "Coming to free trade, people who have friends at a Combat level of 80+ ofcourse will ask for money. And if they're friends in real life they could give eachother money" (virtually through runescape).
Now i understood him, he ment people will become more unbothered about working hard. And will get cash in no time from their friends.
thank you...

Quilla--
There's the lunar spell contact NPC and select dark mage. He'll fix them for you telepathically.
Petal 7--
"And as much as I am looking forward to free trading to help my friends achieve their goals (like equipping a friend with correct armour etc to finally beat Nomad), I am not looking forward to the botting and scamming and the nastiness of some people."
That pretty much sums up my main objections to both parts of the plan. You expressed hope that Jagex has plans to cope with this coming (let's call it) reduction in civility.
So what's to cope? to go a bit yiddish. The plan is to bring back a bunch of (paying) PKers and (paying- at least some) botters. That equals less civility. In other words the plan is that you should be surrounded by many more uncivil people.
I've already seen increases in botting (at Seer's flax field where I hadn't seen lines of botters for ages) and try hanging out in Edgeville bank now and listening to the conversations of the returning PKers gearing up for the change.
Supposedly they plan to remove the botters, but they don't seem to do that very effectively now (though that's admittedly hard to gauge since you can't see the ones they've removed, only the ones still there).
And as to the classless PKers, what can Jagex do? They don't really make much of an effort at banning the supposedly illegal offensive names or chat. If they don't enforce those rules now, what more effort can they be expected to make after the change?
EDIT: Interesting that I just saw a Jmod on another thread named Petal. Coincidence?

Why doesn't runescape make armor for lvl 50 def
lvl 40 = rune armor
lvl 50 = none for f2p
lvl 60 = dragon
please runescape make armor for lvl 50 defence
Also I was gonna suggest a f2p weapon that has a special attack. I think it would be a bog boom in f2p pvping. O_o

Yeah, it would be somewhat of a relief for me if they did; I just can't seem to keep myself from responding when a juicy remark is made. I'm sort of surprised it's still here really; I've been expecting it to not only close but to mysteriously disappear like the poll archives for a while now....
But really, objectively, I'm sure that you can see that a supporter like yourself would likely be much more ready for it to close than the average opponent would, right?
P.S. Kill some green dragon botters for me, wouldya? I won't be there to do it.
