wow. people are still worried about real world trades, botters, and scammers. dont you guys think that if jagex were going to make an update they would overlook it so that there would know what problems they may face after the update. okay there were many problems in the pass but jagex were aware of them and made more updates to prevent more. same goes for the free trade and the wildy. jagex is making a big step but im pretty sure they are doing whatever is neccesary to prevent the problems we hope not to occur. so stop complaining and moping about the bad things that happened in the pass and focus on the great things you can do once this update is present.

...In other words, there is general agreement here that price manipulation is bad...
unfortuantely, what they believe is good merchant is just as bad as manipulation, just named differently. price controls esp the way merchants used to do it, is every bit as bad as manipulation. it forced most players to give up several skills just so a tiny minority can have easy fast money, and that isnt right.
as long as the ge remains, they cant do that. thats why they want to get rid of it.
as to the other guy, i stopped reading his post many pages ago. when its possible to understand what hes saying, it is so full of bs it doesnt matter. he is very apparantly early teens if that, and that is the way he sees the world. he has no interest in facts that do not support is child view of the world.
i can not engage him in a battle of wit because unlike the bullies that pk at the abyss, my honor will not allow me to fight an unarmed man.
frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Ha Battle of wits? I was trying to talk at your, pitiful level. You clearly have no real knowledge of real life, nor game life. If you wish to see my true knowledge. At this current point; The Smashing of your only 20 IQ points will be enjoyable.
If your not some little boy or some little girl in school, or some old fat man or woman. either way i suggest you STAY in school, and/or RETURN to school. So that you may learn a thing or two about THE REAL WORLD; along with its economics.
Doing this will point out how little you truly know. If you can't already smell the BS you have thrown up on to this forum.
If the world ran off your WRONG view of things 90% of the population would be jailed, or murder because of your stupidity.
P.S. The only players that could think of PKing a abyss runner is an ancient mage. Why because of the distance between the entrance and the mage. Common sense my friend, also not an ancient mage out there would waste the runes it take to kill a player there. There is not any real gain in PKing them. Why? Because most will get away and those you will kill will only drop a few Pure/ Rune ess. However the cost to do this is much higher than the gain.
In addition I my self have Ran the Abyss During wildness time. I nor anyone else were ever bother by a player only npcs.

Will untradeables be left on the floor like they would before?
Example : If you kill someone in the Wildy and this person had: A Dragon Defender, Fighters Torso, and a Firecape, would it remain on the ground?
Also, are Overloads allowed?

If something is untradable you can't pick it up off the ground if it's not yours. A person who hasn't done varrock diaries is not going to be able to pick up a varrock kiteshield. That wouldn't make sense. As to whether the victim could come back and pick it up himself; I don't know but I think so. They've said there won't be gravestones in the wild, but does that mean nothing lands on the ground and stays for the default number of seconds? I wouldn't think so.
My goal will be never to find out.

This vote is one of the most amazingly dumb things I've seen from Jagex or any conscious people/person in a long time. The problems that this will cause are going to be enormous. The benefits, very small.
The vote was BS. It speaks volumes to me that the children are trying to be appeased on something they have no clue about.
