HEY!!!! ahah, this may be crazy i want to challenge a JAGEX ADMIN or MOD to a pk! :D fun. their choice whether they get items back or not idc. i have enough to go around. just PM me! i am up for a difficult challenge in the pking community!
i would really appreciate this if someone would step up to the challenge :) i just want to fight a JAGEX MOD since i hardly see you guys anymore! SO PLEASEEEE ahahaha.

i will be pleased to have free trade to come out but im really concerned about wilderness since people will be pking more and be losing more items but since most people love pking, i can't do nothing about, but i am concerned about the wilderness though. Sorry for stating this, but i am concerned. Free trade will be risky since there's a lot of scammers, but im not concerned about that, not saying i want it to be in runescape just saying it will be risky.

Apart from spelling I'll agree with Megaman's last two paragraphs.
I disagree that to qualify as a monopoly you must own ALL a given commodity though. The middle east countries got pretty much all the benefit of being a monopoly in the 70's without owning ALL the oil. But that's probably not worth quibbling about. Of all the unethical things supporters are honest about being in favor of, price manipulation doesn't seem to be among them. In other words, there is general agreement here that price manipulation is bad. The question is whether unlimiting trade will reduce it. I don't know.
But lots of people's economic arguments rely on other sellers than the GE. I don't care if I can get an item cheaper in Fally park than the GE. I'm not going to submit myself to the torture of doing business that way again. Even though the GE isn't currently under consideration for removal, I am against anything that will in practice force me out of using it. If the difference is only, say, 10% between GE and the street that's fine. If somehow the GE prices get so far out of whack vs. the street that I'm way overpaying for the convenience then again, I'm against that sort of change. Although that doesn't seem a very likely scenario; who would spam fally Park if they could sell their items for significantly more on the GE?

thanks i agree with you on that
thee GE was a great add on to the game it allowed trading to be made simple and also easier to sell an item from barrows or a drop. instead of having to go through the pain of getting in to a full world 2 then dealing with the lag caused by the massive amounts of people there spam their items.
i will a agree that chat bots were very common before the GE but they still common advising merch clans.
i will person fight for the right for the GE to remain if that ever comes up which i personally believe would be a very foolish mistake
ps sorry about the spell a baby was falling a sleep on me and it was hard to type

You're falling for their propaganda. Most people DON'T love PKing.
After an initial bloodbath the wildy will taper off into relatively light populations again. But the danger of entering the wild will still be very high because the few savages out there will be world hopping at popular spots and 10 of them will stand on one spot to hide their numbers, etc. Anyone trying to use wildy content will frequently be set on by gangs of PKers who could care less whether you are unarmed/unarmored or not. Unless you're into dying and losing stuff it will probably not be worth going there in general.

that i have to a agree with to at lvl 13 i went into wild to look around and out of no where 5 pure rangers are murdering me it was funny but it kinda stunk too bad for them i had nothing on me lol

So of what is being argued here are not just issues of free trade or the current system
bots
merchants
and other things sadly will always find some way to exist.
also word of advice if you see a scam happening step in and stop it thats what you would want it was you being scammed

Thank goodness old wild and free trade is finally comeing back!!!!!!!!!!!
and to everyone that is complaining of scamming and lureing here are words of advice... dont be dumb about a decision. if someone says "hey follow me into wildy with your bank" or "give me your bank for this one item" odds are your about to lose your stuff if you listen.
Other than that thanks Jagex for bringing out your best update yet.
and for all of you '09 ers get ready for a wake-up call cus once this update happens your not gonna know what hit ya! :D

However after reconsideration this part should be rephrased to:
Jagex should hold a poll in 6-8 months after this update goes into effect, so that the masses can vote on it after having a chance to see what they voted for and the ramifications of that vote.

At this pint,
Jagex, right now has no other option than to do exactly what they promised (P.S. Typing that was/is painful),for they would loose all credibility if they were to reverse course now, however what happen 6 months, 8 months or even years from now remains to be seen.
But, right now it is coming. Let's hope that real world trades and bottlers can be kept in check, if not history will repeat itself I'm afraid.
