...How will skillers be forced to give their money to pkers? They don't have to put a toe inside the wilderness to skill. ...
thats the thing, we either choise to not be skillers (i e, no longer doing all the skills) or we have to give up more money than we make.
...Merchant clans have even more control because of the GE. Because of Free trade, they will have less control than they do now ...
absolutely wrong.
before the ge, coal sold at 200 gp each because that was the maximum that the skillers that used it were willing to LOSE. they couldnt make money with skilling because merchants had ran the cost up so high.
if you sold, skillers wanted large amounts, so most miners had to sell to merchants at 140 gp each coal.
merchants decided what the prices were and thats where it was.
with the ge, players decide what the prices is. they get all of their money, not losing a 3rd if it.

Agent: that's exactly what merchant clans do today.
GET A CLUE WILL YOU.
merchant clans are one of two types. REAL mercahnt clans teach but dont control the prices. MANIPULATION clans cause prices to spike and crash. thats how they make their money. of course only the leaders make money, but thats why its called a scam.

Again, I meant interacting with pkers. I guess I'll have to be more specific while arguing, won't I?
thats what a lot of players didnt like.

and what are "fuits" ?
fruits. things people earn, things they should be able to use themself instead of having to turn it over to some idiot that cant earn it himself.

It doesn't cost me a dime to get a hatchet and chop trees. Bam, skilling at no loss...
How are skillers forced to pay other people? Unless you're smithing or herblore, etc., skillers tend to be the ones selling the resources... Explain your self.

..I don't see how a small number of players could control it. If we don't associate with them, how can they control it? ...
in the old days, they had the merchants bible, guides that told everyone what the prices the merchant were willing to pay and willing to sell for (if you followed the instructions and undercut them anytime they tried to sell)
...They wouldn't have to give all their money to pkers. Actually, they wouldn't have to give anything to them, seeing as the pkers are not dictators over everything in the game. ..
no, they are more like the class bully that picks on anyone smaller than himself and forces them to give up their lunch money.

agent, can we please know when you started playing? did you play during free trade/really wild times?
that would help a lot in determining where you're coming from

i can show you my yoyo but dont have a scythe. that should tell you pretty much when i started.
ive also had a rsc account from the begining of rsc (after rs2 came out you had to have played within a certain amount of time).
