use the lend system. lend your "friend" the item rather than being a bad example and giving them the money to buy their own. if they can't buy their own, stop helping them beg for it.
you don't have to charge to lend items. if you do it would be a bug and need to be fixed.

if the players vote for what the mods let slip, i only have to show the mods that they're wrong. they would have to figure out the precise reasons and try again, or they would not need to be mods. if i was doing something wrong a moderator would have fixed things without having to instigate or they would need more training, despite if they were a volunteed, or not.

@Johney525 eventually, you will give out enough to know that it should not be needed for you to give out things that aren't earned.
if your friend is appearing to need a bit of money, give them some, if you need to give them a bit of money because it was something that probably needed to be given, give it. the current is a guide and is already more than enough. if your problem is with loot share, try switching to gold instead of items so the loot shares have a more obviously even split.
have you even read about loot share enough to have realized this before voting?

I know why i voted, and it has nothing to do with loot or coinshare. why bring that up?
Furthermore, i was only addressing your comment about setting a bad example by giving free stuff to your friends.
I dont see how that made sence.
