Its good to finally have the old runescape back, when it wasn't a fortified system with a thousand restrictions and rules. Now we can really start to feel the thrill of playing again, where you always have to be alert and ready for action and actually have fun playing.

Your right if someone gets 80 dung and gets a chaotic melee weapon they have every right to use it. In my previous post i started it with "in my opinion". I clan war alot and ive seen ppl of similar skills fight cls vs whip and cls almost always is the victor. However if 2 lvl 99 mages fight one using an sol and one using a chaotic staff, its anyones game.

I am very excited for the old wildy/free trade but the anticipation is killing me. Anybody have any idea when this might be released? Since the referendum ends tomorrow..

Noone knows the exact date of release so don't listen to anyone saying otherwise.
As with all updates jagex keeps it a secret untill the day of release, the release could be tmrw or a month from now.

I <3 you and thanks for making and maintaining this great game. I want it all back although for newer player, you should add something extra to help them prevent themselves from getting scammed(later turned off by DoomSlayer Ect. O_o

) Also, leave the G.E. prices on trade items please.

I just thought I'd add my opinion on the whole chaotic weapons chit chat, I assume less people would use them in PvP, sure maybe dueling I suppose, but there's so much more risk now isn't there? None of this nonsense about keeping one item, no. You die you loose it all or keep one item. (unless you're unskulled of course :3) And I personally wouldn't want to risk a chaotic item that took eons to get just for some good hits. Talking about hits, I really dislike jagex's like .. Hit ratio sort of thing? I've had so many cases where the opponent was close to red barred and I hit the most horrible hit possible, or that useless "shield" thing. Ugh. But anyway, I'm happy that wilderness is back

Staking isn't, or shouldn't be based on your weapon though. since 90%+ used dds/whip. i'm saying, keep it oldschool = dds and whip + stat build and some luck.

so how is the G.E going to work? is it just going to be that you put what price you want for what you going to buy?? or is it going to be no G.E Database and just a gain place to buy and sell stuff????? some one plz explain

Now's the time to take your risks, with the prices of items rocketing to oblivion its up to you to decide which will rise, and gamble on them. The g.e will probably be very unstable for the first few months will prices going up and down so it probably best to sell all your assets now.
