This is a horrible idea in my opinion, this topic is MAINLY aimed for level 20's - 110's who
- don't know how to spell properly
- are the rudest people in runescape with foul language
- are the biggest scammers, and were the main people gold farming in 2007
- don't even have a total risk of 1M, so they have nothing to loose when they die
- are sour losers
Ofc there are many 120+ players who wish to pk aswell in the old wildy, but that's a extreme minority of rs community.
For free trades, maybe it should be limited to friends who have been added for 2 months or more? the last thing i need is a lvl 3 being richer than me :p makes me jelous.
Also what about the people who like hard/ elite clue scrolls? or Corperal beast, or Chaos ele or stealing creating, clan wars, training at armoured zombies and many others?
If i go corp, the last thing i need is a team barraging me, causing me to die and lose mils?
I also accidently voted yes earlier on :(
Reconsider what your doing please, and put some thought in for those who have more experience in play RuneScape, bescause it's fine the way it is. I have asked a clan of 130+ and many disagree with this.

PS. i saw earlier on there was a post on this thread, something like, "omggg plzzz bring backs the oldwildy!@12 an tradeq limitz 2!!! i miss it soooo much becoz i want to giv my frd 2 sets of bandos and stuff cuz their nice"
i went to his alog, found out he's lvl 60, has been doing nothing but mining (which most bots do, pure essence), so i extremely doubted what he said.
isn't this obvious what will happen to runescape? more scammers and botts.

as angry as i am at this communist, one sided, manipulated vote, i aggree with the compromise of isolating wildy to worlds and making free trade with friends
if one person here can say they dnt use the g e, speak now

I am strongly for this update. Just think back to the days where the economy was truly controlled by the players. You could make businesses and give gifts and set your own prices. Sure there were scams but back then it was just part of the game. I mean wouldn't you rather have the complete freedom that runescape had back before the updates?
Also with the wildy, pking was much more risky and exciting than it is today. You knew what you were going to get in drops and you could pick your targets.
@Trve I understand what you are saying, but wouldn't an easy way to solve that be to make some non wildy worlds, where the wilderness is a non pvp area?

I dont understand why you complain about rwt, scamming or somethink else.. Jagex always fought with such a kind of players and if you get scammed its just your problem. For the time we learn from mistakes and not to make them again. Just be serious and remember all funny things happened in 03's - 06's.

Stop trying to repair or improve what isn't broken, there's so many other things that could use improvement and there's so many great ideas for new contents!
Wilderness and Free Trade was removed to discourage bots, and that it did. It made things more fair and lessened the workload, bots cannot ever be totally eliminated. They can though be decreased in numbers and measurements taken to discourage them and make it difficult to bot. Bringing wilderness back = more problems. Why are you considering to bring back something that caused so many issues? Not all of the ranters even understands the reason why, it's because 1 they didn't bother to read and 2 they were botting and did RWT.
I vote no to both, you chose to remove it as to improve the game and to remove lots of the RWT and botting issues. Told everyone it was out of the question to ever return it and there was riots and rants in which many pmods muted people for and some got banned for continuous bad behavior. Many of the ranters were botters and cheating the game, if that's the kind of people you want then by all mean make a game full of zombies. Free Trade is just going to cause more RWT and unfair advantages to people who are flat out idiots and lazy. It's a game, its meant for you to work your way up.
A poll is not going to solve anything and will just cause more disruption and issues. I would like to believe that you really are not considering to return it but was just intending to cause an uproar to bring back some old members and regain their interest....
Already there's discussions of people forcing others to vote yes, all it takes is to sign your name up and it's counted. There's no pass protection or identity check to be sure someone is actually voting and they are a real player, not just a brand new account. Already, this is in the dump.
Please take the time to examine what exactly people say when they oppose it, many are not for bringing it back exactly as it was.
